Which model did you pick? any amount of different ones come up on the websites note 4x, note pro etc.
    Thanks

Redmi Note 4 Global - Global is a key word. I chose it because I wanted a really good battery. Geekbuying Italy are out of stock atm. I went for the 4gb 64 g version.

Don't buy unless it is the official Global version with the Snapdragon processor.

Lacking Band 20 for LTE use/coverage here.

If you live in the city or not worried about LTE/4G, it will work fine.

Thanks Corkie. I'm all around the country so definitely have to have band 20 going by what you say.

Any recommendations for a phone around the 100-120 mark? My last two phones were Chinese - the Landvo L200, which was great, and a Bluboo Maya which was terrible!

Looking for a Xiaomi and I'm wondering wheres the best place to order from regarding delivery these days?

Also any recommendations on which model to go for? Just looking to update the mother's phone so doesn't have to be fancy, just has to be decent. Budget under €170/€180 but lower if possible.

Similar recommendation request here. I have an Vodafone SU6 and the display I think has taken too many knocks. I am looking at the kimovil.com recommendations and Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and LeEco Le Max 2 seem to be the highest recommended.

The camera on the SU6 was fairly pish so would like to get a better one if possible. Also some of these seem to have an audio jack and others don't, and some are normal USB charging and others are that poxy mini USB yoke.

Don't know which way to turn now as I don't know anyone with either.

I usually stick with xiaomi as they're quality but I'll definitely get a leeco soon

I'm not saying they're a great phone or anything

    LeEco Le Pro 3
    Huawei Honor 8/9
    Moto Z2 Play

    Are also worth looking at.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. Given the cost/specs I am thinking the LeEco's are a no brainer?

I have also looked at the Le Max 2.

6gb 64gb version is around €200 from Italy. The AnTutu score is extraordinary for the money..

I'm far from an expert so could be wrong thinking this?

This is the big issue with leeco.

The reason the phones are so cheap is that it's probably a fire sale to get cash in.

Don't expect software updates for those phones.

    Interesting..

I had read about their financial difficulties but hadn't considered this. Phones seem to be an absolute steal though..

Might just go for the Mi Mix 2. Does anyone know if these devices are much cheaper on the Chinese market? I presume not but I import a lot from there and could probably have contacts get them for me as I will probably be buying quite a few if I find something I'm happy with.

    Cheers

Looking to buy a Xiaomi Redmi 5A as a family backup phone. I bought a Mi A1 from honorbuy a few months back. Who is best to deal with at the minute. Looking for EU shipping to avoid customs delays and charges. Thanks.

Gearbest is never the best place to get anything ever.
They are known for selling fakes/clones/faulty/damaged/rejects.
It has been mentioned many times before.

I also wonder why people never seem curious when they see the items with a huge price difference than every other Chinese store (not in this instance). Is it because they are willing to chance it, or think it's a genuine decent price?
