Well they play completely different positions but yes Davies is set for a few weeks now until rose returns or a replacement is signed

I have Monreal (5.5m) as a starter in my backline.

Does anyone else think he is a good choice or if not any other 5.5m options?

My other two starters in defence (3-4-3) are Bailly and Alonso with TAA and Long on the bench.

I had a peek at some friends' teams that they have posted. Knowledgeable guys, but would be more of a "casual" nature of player of FPL in comparison to us addicts :pac:

Heavy, heavy investment in defence in many of them. Lots of say Courtois/De Gea, Azpilicueta, Walker, Alderwerield etc.

I wonder if that will be a trend across the board to start off this season?

I hope so.

Traditionally clean sheets have been rare at the beginning of the season.
