    I have Monreal (5.5m) as a starter in my backline.

    Does anyone else think he is a good choice or if not any other 5.5m options?

    My other two starters in defence (3-4-3) are Bailly and Alonso with TAA and Long on the bench.

    Bertie Cedric Kolasinic/ 2 saints for fixtures,Kol 4 attack/jonhson playing as a WB & TFM

    KDB Mane/No brainers/ Walters/OOP/ Richie/set pieces/ Carroll

    Kane Kun/afraid to go without either,no Luk/Abraham/Should start 1st 3-4 games.

    No UTD attack a worry,but u cant have them all: 3-4-3 to start

    I had a peek at some friends' teams that they have posted. Knowledgeable guys, but would be more of a "casual" nature of player of FPL in comparison to us addicts :pac:

    Heavy, heavy investment in defence in many of them. Lots of say Courtois/De Gea, Azpilicueta, Walker, Alderwerield etc.

    I wonder if that will be a trend across the board to start off this season?

    I hope so.

    Traditionally clean sheets have been rare at the beginning of the season.
