I assumed they wear masks because they're worried about being recorded doing something illegal, being recognised and getting done for it?

So the bottom line is that they are committing illegal acts and by doing so are criminals?

I tend to agree...they should be treated as such too. Cowards.

I have to say I didn't know much about him until now.
And taken your pedantry onboard, I will now say he has far right views and what I would normally have termed a neo nazi.

I also have to say the lines are now so blurred by dipshytes screaming facists, nazi at anyone that doesn't agree with their views, that the actual nazi, fascist label is becoming lost.

A nazi to me is someone who would condone the likes of Nazi Germany and Hitler, blatter on incestantly about Jewish conspiracies, and would be a white supremacist like the above guy.

But the thing is a lot more people do have sympathy for the latter.

Spencer likes to be known as an identitarian, he is not a neo nazi. He does not believe in violence or supremacy or take overs. He believes ultimately in an ethno state for white people. He would prefer somewhere for people of European heritage to go and be left alone. I wouldn't like the idea of an ethno state so i am not a supporter. But i have no problem with him seeking those aims through peaceful means if that's what floats his boat. What i don't like is the violent antifa types who would have no problem violently forcing their beliefs on people.

People make comments like this, or worse calling "them" pussies or cowards or that they'd run away. What does someone like that want to happen? For a gang of people that they associate with the "opposite side" to go on a rampage and seriously fuck up some random bystanders in order to gain "respect"? By all means, call individuals within the group cowards if they do cowardly things, but calling an entire group cowards for refusing to initiate some sort of battle is not correct.

Yes, he is. Identitarian is just another word for white supremacist. A pretty tranparent attempt at rebanding. Astonishing to see people making excuses for Neo Nazi's. Oh wait, not astonishing at all .

Another thing the far-left like to do is shower people with labels such as Nazi and Supremacist.

Generally these labels drip out of them without an actual reasoning behind them.

In fact Milo Yiannopoulos was recently called something similar by an interviewer despite being a jewish homosexual who favours black boyfriends.

And something the far right Nazi's like to do is pretend there not racists, while being incredibly racist.

Idententrian is just another word for white supremacist:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identitarian_movement

    --SNIP--
According to Christoph Gurk one of the goals of the Identitarians is to make racism modern and fashionable[5] and they have close connections to Hungarian and Polish Neo-Nazis, according to Anna Thalhammer.[6] There has also been Identitarian collaboration with the white nationalist activist Tomislav Sunić.[7]
    --SNIP--

So make racism "fashionable", and links with Neo Nazi's. No not Nazi's at all . Still its good to see people expose there sympathies towards fascism.

The same Milo who was fired from Breit Bart after his comments on pedophilia. The same Milo who was banned from Twitter after inciting a racist hate campaign against actress Leslie Jones.

Still the fact remains, there is video of Richard Spenser (the guy I was talking about, and not disgraced "journalist" Milo), doing a Nazi salute and shouting "Heil Trump":

    You posted wikipedia.

    Allow me to do likewise:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism

Nazi Germany is the common English name for the period in German history from 1933 to 1945, when Germany was governed by a dictatorship under the control of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party (NSDAP).

So this guy is a lot older than he looks if he was allied to German National Socialism back in the 40s!

Look, not a fan of richard spencer by any means, but on milo you're telling some falsies here, first of all the pedophilia debacle was a witchhunt and while what he said was definitely wrong, to most it just came off as a man trying to rationalize being abused as a child. Also the twitter thing is a lie and its well documented at this stage, the worst he had posted was a bad review of the film she was in and reply to abusive tweets from her. Hardly inciting a hate mob by any definition was it?

Honestly, I don't really care about Milo either way. I honestly don't think he believes half the stuff he says, and he is just courting controversy. I would think Twitter would be very careful about banning someone famous like Milo was, so maybe what your saying is true, and it was more his fans acting on there own.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,939 ✭✭✭20Cent

Milo should name the person who raped him as a child. He could have done the same to many victims. He should also name the people who organised and attended the pedo parties he went to. Cops should be interviewing him.

definitely agree, he does add stuff in to sensationalize. Don't get me wrong there was some disgusting stuff said to leslie on twitter but not from milo, banning milo because some of the abuse came from accounts that followed him was a terrible call on twitters behalf

Think a little longer, like perhaps even pre-dating literacy. I've no time for people who think the African slave trade was some kind of benevolent uplifting, but nor have I time for people who think it marked the beginning and end of forced labour in the world.

I doubt that he is actually a Nazi in the literal sense.

But now you end up in an argument over semantics because you refuse to just say "OK, maybe he isn't actually a Nazi". Instead you are doubling down by saying you don't see how much more of a Nazi he could possibly be.

The conversation becomes basically "accept the label that I am applying to this person or be prepared to argue in circles indefinitely".

You are dumbing down the conversation. The only question I have is whether or not you are doing it deliberately?

Except it isn't. I backed up what I was saying and countered the claims that I was wrong. About the only thing I did wrong, was not use the word Neo, which I taught wasn't needed, as clearly someone born in the late 70's wasn't an actual member of the German Nazi party. BTW, I wasn't the one who started the arguement in regards to symatics, but I did start saying Neo Nazi for those who are pedants.
    NinjaKirby wrote: »

I can't quite fanthom, how it inaccurate to call a guy who we have video of them Sieg Heiling, a Neo Nazi. What I do see as dumbing down the conversation is someone, who ignores what someone says and puts words in there mouths. You simply haven't addressed anything I have said, and instead argueing around what was said, and how it was said instead.

BTW, this isn't a left vs right debate. Neo Nazi's aren't really part of the main stream right, and most of the main stream right detest them, like everyone else.
