    Thought of the day:
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

There is this magic thing called unfollow. Or you can keep wasting time watching baby snaps and complain about it. There are ten pages of same complaints, I doubt the snaps will suddenly change.
I have to disagree regarding things suddenly changing. I unfollowed Rosie Con a long time ago due to her attitude and lack of transparency. A moth or two ago I saw a number of board  users commend her change in direction and attitude and her increase in transparency and use of #ad. She has also distanced herself from less reputable influences and does not accept every freebie going. I really enjoy following her now due to this change and I believe it is threads like this one which have seen the changes amongst influences in the last two months.
Another example is MUF - I am by no means her biggest fan. However she is snapping less and creating more, better quality content and blogging. I still question her lack of #ad and the whole brand ambassadors thing - BUT the fact she only snaps something that may ad value to someones day is a major plus in my books.
That said some people are past taking advice - Faces is not a Beauty Youtuber/Blogger/Influencer - anything. She has given herself the label of Lifestyle Vlogger to allow herself to promote the mundane more frequently. The replacement of B to V (Blogger to Vlogger) is due to the fact that all she does is snapchat, which is not even a real vlogging platform!
I would love to know which PR represents Faces - so I know to stay away from them in future, as she is either receiving very poor advice - or not receiving any advice just lost of 'keep up the good work'.
So to keep this on topic....... I think bloggers should avoid covering their private life and give their kids the privacy and protection they deserve. When they do cover topics they should be transparent on the motive behind them.
Where I do agree with unfollowing is when you hate follow someone - following the Gossies drama I unfollowed Marissa Carter and Ali Ryan. I'm all the better for it.

Grace is managed by Andrea Roche team and based on all the mistakes she's made regarding illegally promoting baby food, breastfeeding drama, the bullying of rosemary macabe, the pretending she bought a tv she actually received free, the zero transparency when she's constantly promoting, telling young followers to go have a baby it's easy, telling people a skinny tea will help you drop 5lbs in a week when she can't even drink it because she's breastfeeding, the lazy contents endless baby and food snaps, I'd say her management team either don't care because they get their percentage or they give up advising her..
All of the above are topics I want avoided by an influencer.

I don't see what possibly can be criticised with Rosie and Sue drawing on personal experience to advertise for the RSA. Giving it a personal touch contributes to the memorabilty of the ad and it sounded more sincere, particularly in Rosie's case. I think she expressed herself very well.
As someone who deals with victims of road accidents daily, I think they should be commended for taking the job. Any light shed on seat belt wearing is positive. I unfollowed Rosie ages ago and refollowed her recently. Her content is far better now.

Does anyone follow Lindsay/Mermaidajade? She had snaps at the weekend of sitting on a toilet 'drip drying' because there was no toilet roll. it was funny for the first few snaps but then it got TMI! Also lots of drunken snaps and snaps of her just dancing in front of a mirror...

Just seen faces by graces snaps there now. That girl has a serious attitude problem and i really didnt think she couldnt get worse, she has.
10 mins of snap chat?I feel sorry for sienna. She has no one concerned for her welfare.Snap chat is not private, there is no control over screenshots, are people really not concerned with who are looking at their kids
Number 1 topic to be avoided...babies..

I think the whole area of oversharing is what bloggers would ideally avoid. That can be too much information or excessive snaps about irrelevant topics. Sharing too much about family etc to me is the worst in this category. You can acknowledge family/partners in a clever way, such as Sharon Leavy and the kids - she mentions bits to do with them, you can hear them sometimes in a snap but you don't see them; Laura's views and Ian/Dean - he knows he is on her snaps and the snaps always have a purpose of him being in them but we don't see his face, everyone is happy! Doireann Garrihy infrequently shows her family, who all know they are on the snaps, all obviously agree to it and again, there's generally a purpose to them being in them as opposed to 'here's this person just on my snapchat because I've nothing else to show and they're not even really doing anything'. I've a baby only a few days older than FBG's small girl and if I put up three snaps of him in an entire week that's a lot as I'm conscious that most of my friends don't want to be inundated with random pics/videos of stuff I, as his parent, find adorable, but not everyone else will! Wish all bloggers felt this way.

I agree! I saw Suzanne's snaps yesterday! Then today heard on the radio that the rsa did a survey and young girls are the worst for not wearing seat belts or wearing them wrong. They don't want to ruin their tan or outfits!! Jese!!!!
So I think Suzanne was a perfect person to pick to tell people wear them!! I don't follow Rosie but she was prob a perfect match to! They have so many young followers who do hang on everything they say! If it gets more people wearing seat belts that's all that matters!

Sj wasn't wearing a selt belt a few days ago in cab at LFW. I think that's why people were criticising her. I don't follow her but that's what I'm getting from other posts on here.

Yea I did notice that! I actually looked at her previous snap and she hadnt one on! But I'm sure the people it's aimed at won't notice that!!! There are some people that think these girls can do no wrong and if they can be got to wear seatbelts by listening to them, then great!

Rosie con taking a snapchat break to spend the day with her son .. she just keeps going up in my estimation.
Only coming on for decent content.
Not boring people with Baby snaps and endless cooking snaps.

Rosie is defo on the up regarding topics/ content in my books.
Used to skip her story but now I look for it.

Grace, well I had a message done up to send her then just deleted it as it will do no good.

The baby snaps are far too much, i feel she needs to take a break from snap and reevaluate what she wants to do with the platform she has. She has zero content at the moment, although i did watch her make up application snaps the other day and enjoyed them, other than that in the few months can't name another snap i didn't skip from her.

Re agencies is it the case that as she is on 'mat leave' she can post what she likes then get back into blogger mode after 6 months?

MUF on the up for me too for less is more snaps :)

I don't think she is on maternity leave as a blogger, just as a MUA.  She's being taking sponsored content in the past six months

Just as I thought really. & yes your right re sponsored posts I don't know i was just trying to think of some reasonable explanation.

    There is obviously none :(

I had 3 friends all say as of yesterday they have unfollowed, im off to do the same myself. I hope she sees a drop in numbers and understands the content is the reason why

Rosie C has definitely improved her content balance and her transparency over the last few months, and seems to be getting more successful as a result. She's also coming across more sincere too in her snaps. I was very impressed when she took the time use her platform to ask people to support the lifeboats and was moved by its connection to her personal loss of her father years ago.

Well to clarify I mean sponsored context in the sense of on social media.  As in I've seen #ad on snapchat.  I actually don't know about her blog as I don't read it.  There's no content there anytime I check so I forget.

I really hate when people screenshot loads of tweets/mentions of themselves and put them up on their story. MUF is so bad for it, literally like 10 snaps in a row of people saying what an inspiration she is/how hard working she is etc. It's boring.

Also if a blogger recommends something and then screenshots all the snaps sent to them of people using that product/following their advice and stick them up on their story... tap tap tap.

Agreed LizT, it's the equivalent of constantly retweeting praise, shows a total lack of self-awareness!

Yes! It's so annoying, 'LOOK HOW GREAT I AM', ok yes, it's good to be proud of yourself and happy to have achieved your goals etc, but all out narcissism is a no no in my book. It really turns me off a person. MUF is brutal for this, I just closed my snapchat coz she was at it again sharing gushing sentiments from her followers *eyeroll*

Teeeeeny bit offtopic, but is anyone following Rionabig on Snapchat? 18 year old 'sugarbaby' from Ireland, living in London, I saw last night she has severed ties with her 'sugardaddy'..... TBH it all looked a bit set up to me.... Anyone else seen her snaps? NOTE: Some snaps are NSFW as she films in various states of undress, in bed etc. So disturbing to me that this girl is only 18 and over there living off a man, she's so young like.

Very off topic, but it look very set up. I only started following her after rosemarys blog. I find it quite disturbing too I unfollowed her today.

Started following her after RMC did a blogpost on her.... I just can't get my head around it!! I think the independent contacted her last week so there is a story coming up on her this week - made me wonder about her family background etc cos I know mine would be absolutely mortified if that was me - and yes last night seemed completely staged.

I can't stop watching the snaps though and even followed the 'sugardaddy' when she gave out his scname - but defs she needs to STOP with the NSFW snaps - she is only 18, a lot to learn I think (£5k a month sounds like a nice allowance though right - I joke!!)

Less baby snaps today from Grace. Even found the snaps bearable. Hopefully she'll continue with quality over quantity

Really that's a good start did she reduce all the food posts too.

I don't follow hercusually but there was a fair amount of food snaps but I didn't mind that as she had weigh in with SW

I suppose it's to be expected on weigh in day hopefully she continues to change up her content or snap less if she has no content.

Rosie, MUF, Faces, James Patrice, SJ, Tara Makeup and JJ are all with Andrea Roche. Lots of different approaches to content among those so I doubt there's much input from the agency other than on sponsored content - but that's another thread so I won't get into it here.

Can you clarify the "illegal" bit? Against what law?

    https://www.fsai.ie/legislation/food_legislation/foods_for_particular_nutritional_uses/infant_formulae_and_follow_on_formulae.html

This details legislation surrounding advertising of baby formulae in Ireland as per FSAI.
