Wonder whom the new selector will be?

Please elaborate on your statement there.

I heard his attitude at Waterford training wasn't great.

Are there no other pitches in the county? The surface at Fraher Field is not fit for purpose. The fixture pile up and the tendency to play most games at the Fraher Field can mean only one thing. The Boards have lost their way.

Next years championships must not be compressed into a few weeks. It is time to stand up to county team managers. It is time to play more matches outside of Fraher Field also.

Since when is fraher field not fit for purpose? The reason they have so many games is the quality of the pitch. They are overdoing it no doubt, but the pitch is quality and it's a testament to those that work on it that they can keep it so well despite the pile up.

Surly Sean power of the u21deserves to be in the mix/potential future manager?

Lucky that there was a dry week this week. Otherwise it would be unplayable. There are other quality pitches in the county deserving of fixtures.

And because you heard something it is automatically right is it? Duirt bean liom go nduirt bean lei. Maybe the person spinning the yarn had an agenda? I have read that nonsense here about that particular player for several years. I have never seen him give less than his best as my own club knows to its cost.

Lismore won the western intermediate hurling title tonight beating Modeligo 2-15-1-11 (Dan and Maurice scoring 2-10 between them). They will now play Dunhill in the County Intermediate Hurling final.

Have a feeling Passage will beat Ballygunner 2morrow in the senior

I wouldn't mind seeing Tony Browne coming in as the third selector. He seems to be doing ok with Lismore. Great that the other bluffer was seen through! Karma is a bitch when it bites!

And can you elaborate on that last statement please?

You wouldn't name a potential panellist whose hurling you deemed not up to it when asked to name him but you have no problem dismissing a hurler on hearsay?

I presume Fintan O'Connor is no longer involved from reading between the lines of other posts?

It wasn't hearsay, a team member told me.

Is Dan staying on as selector?

Met Fintan in cashel after the under 21 semi win over Antrim and he seemed a nice guy. So its weird hearing about his ego exploding

Is Jordan Henley fully fit again?

Congrats to Ballygunner 3 in a row winners on a score of 4-20 to 1 -12 only ahead by a point at half time, gunners aided by the wind really pushed on and showed their class

Twas good performance from ballygunner after giving passage a 5 point lead.second half just pulled away. Thought ref was poor enough.

Ballygunner play a blanket defence with three inside forwards... Passage went man on man not sure what to do with so much space for the ballygunner full toward line

Absolutely disgraceful and scumbag carry on, the video clip on the Hogan Stand facebook page shows it close up and it looks even worse than it did on tv and the umpire just standing there doing nothing about it.

Lets be honest O Keefe has previous when it comes to all that sort of stuff. Tries to intimidate and upset full forwards and more often than not he gets carded as a result. Or in the cases of Fennelly and Callanan he just gets cleaned out.

Passage drifted out of the game in the second half. Not at all impressed by the Ballygunner back-line which is too prone to foul and is easily opened up. Bad and all as Passage were they could have scored four goals today. Ballygunner will win no All Ireland without a major improvement in defense.

Dont think ballygunner are thinking of all irelands only game next week. If they get over that then maybe. Thurles are step up on anything in waterford

Sorry Barry Coughlan I meant to say. I intended to say that Socky's save was excellent and was the turning point in the game. That's where the mistake came from.
