Rebooted the box and hey presto the password worked, all set up now, thanks to everyone for their patience and especially Tommycahir for the walkthrough its great.

Use Addon Installer to install Maintenance Tool, in there under General Maintenance you can Clear Cache.

You will need to google how to install Addon Installer, more than likely you will have it installed already!

How do I edit my bouquets/channel list so that only FTA appear and I don't have ten channel 4s etc? Do I export some file through FTP and edit it or what?

Openelec / enigma2
Enigma 2 has auto bouquet maker
Which groups the channels for you.
You select an area to scan ie London.
Will make groups including free sat
You can hide the groups u don't want see

Yeh, I'm in 5.3 pbnigma and I can hide groups I don't want but how do I remove all the individual channels I don't want? I have to select and go into each one individually and remove it?? I can't edit a load of channels en masse?

EDIT: I've found it now

For anyone looking to install picons on pbnigma this is what I did

1. Change picons path to eg. usr/share/enigma2/picons
2. I downloaded snp picons from here (Post #44) and put them into the picons folder. They are not the nicest picons but step 3 will update them

3. Install Rats picon updater from here (post #5)

You may need to restart to get it to show up in plugins.
It will be at the bottom of the list in plugins but run it and it should pull all the current picons from its server.
The reason to install picons in step 2 is because the Rats updater needs a set of picons already there to work.

Hey guys, I've a WeteK OpenELEC box. Is it possible to control the box using a Logitech Harmony Elite remote ? If so can someone provide a dummies guide on how to set it up please ?

plan on getting the Wetek Play2 to use the tuners with an old sky dish. but I'm not sure which one i'm to select when picking a variant.

is it?

1) DVB-C/T/T2
2) ATSC

Dvb s is for satellite.
But this model is just out so check out software before buying.
As it took a long while in first model before software was anyway stable

Hmm will have to look around to see if they've a DVB S tuner module about so. It doesn't seem to be listed as a purchase option on their own website for the Play2.

Yeah, some issues with everything on it, tried the wetek android version there last week & recorded a 1 hour show, 18 gig that stuttered throughout

It'll probably be getting well down the list of priorities now too for devs.

Hi all, have my Wetek Play running fine for past few months but remote stopped working today. Just the power button on the remote flashes green after you press any button. Restarted box, replaced batteries in remote and tried to resync it(holding ok and back buttons) but no joy. Anyone else had this?

Which RCU have you? My openelec has stopped responding lots of times but a reboot has always fixed it. Contact Wetek maybe.

Where's the back button on that openelec remote? I'm trying to resync it. Box works with enigma remote but I'd like the origina back and I've forgotten which button does what.

I'm after getting a USB DVB-T tuner but plugged it in, started box and nothing shows up in the tuners section in E2. Is there a guide anyone can link me to for what I need to do to get it set up?

you would need to download drivers from plugin menu

I got it installed and appearing as one of the tuners but am getting an error message when I try and do a scan -

'ERROR - failed to scan (error starting scanning)!'

I've tried PBnigma and OpenPli and both give the same error.

Got a Wetek Play2 DVB-S yesterday. Running stock Wetek OS (Android) for now.

So just getting to grips with it. Kodi etc, all fine.

I scanned for sat channels, just tv and fta and it scanned 500+ stations, mostly b0llix.

How do I easily edit these channels?
Is there an offline boutique editor that's compatible with the Wetek OS?

Very happy with it so far.

I'm also trying to get it to run libreELEC but it wont boot from the sd card , some error about "tty"
