Wow, we actually have some settled snow in Wicklow town! I’d given up any expectations... looks wet and roads are slushy but some reasonable flakes falling at the moment.

2km from the butt of Cairn Hill, in Killoe Longford as the crow flies. Went to bed to it trying it’s best to start snowing and it’s still going strong now

Yes very windy in North Dublin. Bits of tree and bush all over. This was actually quite a prolonged storm. Forecasts I got to see didn't talk up the amount of wind and the prolonged nature of the wind as much as the snow factor.

Driving snow/iced rain in violent gusts, house rattling all night. Can't get out to check damage, but reckon I have lost a few roof tiles and chimney pots. I was so glued to snow reports that I never saw wind warning. Last night's wind and wind now is worse than Red Warning we ever got.

We’ve had it all here in central Meath. Snow, rain, sleet and back to snow now.

Just a wet and windy day in D3.

This must be the most ridiculous infographic from Met Eireann have ever seen. Seems Limerick and Tipp are having lovely weather..

Cold air being dragged down in the heavier precip, unfortunately its only temporary as the mild air is moving up from the south overnight but nevertheless, another good showing out west.

Funny enough it was rain-to-snow here rather than snow-to-rain as I'd expected and was forecast.
It rained for 3 hours at -1 and only turned to snow at 5am after temp rose above +1C

Peaked with a paltry 1cm of very icy snow, now rapidly melting with temp up to 2.2C
Wind chill last night must have begun brutal.

During the night about 3 inches (7.5 cms) of snow accumulated in the Westport area again ! With daylight the snow has turned to rain and the accumulated snow is melting. Current temp. is 1.3ºC.

Horrible weather here in Lusk - raining, windy and freezing cold... presumably in touching distance of snow. Painful!

Nada in D9. Went to bed earlier after it started to snow, woke up around half 6 and nada had stuck. At 9am still nada.

    Sleety stuff falling now.

Same here outside Newport. It's mixing between rain and snow but the melt is on.

Sligo this morning. Parts of the northwest should of been under a orange warning.

Proper sized snow flakes the past 30 mins, about 2cms on ground
    Had expected rain by now!!!
