Still light snow swirling in the wind in Dublin 16. 0.7c now.

Lots of snow up in Louth by the looks of the webcams,

Lots of Dublin, Kildare missing out but a good bit of snow around
What webcams? I've only found the 3 traffic cams from TII, Google searches didn't get me any others :(

Some snow lying on hedges/cars, but barely a dusting on the ground - D14. The ninja snow a week or two back was more of an 'event' than this was supposed to be.

    Dublin Airport 0.0°C
    Casement 0.1 °C

Overnight 12-hr precip totals to 6 am were 0.1 and 0.2 mm, respectively.

Went to bed at 11 last night and only the scant remains left. Woke up this morn to another find drop in west Mayo. Kids getting ready now for more snowmen as I don't think it is going to last for too long. Was snowing 20 minutes ago but now replaced by sleet.

Hares outside eating the veg remains of Thursdays/Fridays snowmen.

Not sure about Kildare but yes in Dublin we were fortunate to miss out on the worst of it. Must say looking forward to the warmer temperatures on the way

A few flakes in Bray swirling up down and around the lamp post outside. Rolling over to sleep now. My next report will be when my alarm goes off at 7.30am for work and I look out the Velux. Footpaths as dry as a bone or a Winter Wonderland?? Who knows.

Started snowing in Newry at about 6:15 or so. Couple of cm's on the ground already. Supposed to be quite heavy until about midday or 1pm it seems.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,597 ✭✭✭corsav6

Another good pasting here in west Mayo but it's raining now so it won't last long.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,787 ✭✭✭Lashes28

What the hell I thought the snow was over for us up north?! The wind is so so strong and seem like it's wet sleet falling now but we are white in Louth again.

Snow in tullamore turning sleety now.
Nice little covering but won’t last long today.

Still light snow falling (or more correctly blowing) in Dublin 16. What's on the ground is melting a little. 0.7c atm.

Fairly wild out in South Wicklow, 130m asl

Radar animation shows Mourne and Sperrin shadows also setting up in Ulster. Seems to be holding off the precip at Aldergrove.

Our Limavady envoy may not be impressed.

A decent covering with me too, but looks a bit damp, mix of snow and sleet at the moment.

Very windy and sleety in North county Dublin. Did a run to Swords earlier and there's small amounts of lying snow on some of the margins facing into the wind. Otherwise ground is wet
