This can't turn into a farce or be left on the long finger

It needs to be rolled out ASAP, if people have to get it Christmas day/NYD etc then so be it

From next week is what Martin has said. Small numbers and supplies at first.

Any idea what our first allocation will be?

Up to 10,000 doses over 2 deliveries

I think last week Paul Reid said he was hoping for 10,000 doses. There was a story that we were getting 5,000 and it was in response to this.

There's an initial number of 5,000 I've seen mentioned so shots for 2,500 people.

The sweet taste of normality is within reach.

They've already said they won't be holding back part of the delivery for 2nd shot. Supply lines have been confirmed so if 5k comes in 5k get it

    Got results! Negative. Phew.

Great news ( of course RTE has it well down on their headline list). It’s the begining of the end of this **** show and the doom merchants.

“ there won’t be a vaccine” “ the vaccine is only a pipe dream” feck off!:D

Sensible approach. We need about 30K for the nursing homes and then about 100K for frontline HCWs.

If our initial allocation is just 5000 doses and that's 1% of the EU allocation thats half a million doses for the EU next week

Does anyone else think that's a very small number?

The UK alone already got that many doses iirc

The UK did their own deals. Now we wait for EU commission approval and for Pfizer to turn around and say this is the amount we can give you straight away
