Seems to have warmed up here in Connemara. There was frost on the car at 6pm but its gone now. Clear skies mainly.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

When you don't expect it, you get a better result. Looked out the window and we have a nice dusting on the cars and the road too. Galway

    :p

The BBC precipitation chart were showing some snow for this region on Friday night, but i prefer to believe it was my snow dance that won the day:D

And from the radar it was a pretty weak shower, but the frozen base helped anything that fell survive. So much being wasted at sea

Aye, was stood outside at the bus stop for the bus at the airport. Can't feel my toes. This is a very rough welcome home after a year in the blazing sun.
Let's hope the snow in Galway stays for another few hours so I can get some decent welcome home pics.

YOUR snow dance? The effective one was MINE!. HUH! Poaching !

Loud precipitation heavy and hard on roof and windows.

More on windows than roof as befits a NW wind. Bitter chill.

    A cold, cold day ahead.

And it goes still again, Mercurial … But the wind is howling and buffeting so the next assault is not far away .

Deeply thankful I do not need to go out today. Commiserations with all who do..stay safe out there..

    West Mayo

Temp crept up here and it's pretty much all rain that is falling now, kids won't believe me if I tell them there was snow last night.

Frost on the roofs here in north Kildare. Must refill the bird feeders, they’ll be needing it today.

Darker and wilder by the minute. A bitter and fierce gale at work now Without the snow appeal of yesterday. Up to 100 kph due and ramping up nicely.

    west mayo offshore

Wintry weather moving south at the moment.

    lastsnowradar_uk.gif

Most of the snow on high ground but expecting a wintry mix at times to lower levels further south inland.
