If someone sits in a pub and tells their mates that the world is flat or that the world is run by lizards, what kind of response do you think they'll receive?

That reaction also happens on the internet, but there are usually rules against personal insults (not back-seat modding just pointing it out). However it's perfectly fine to point out that the view itself is false or nonsensical.

So far i have seen 2 and neither of which i would consider credible. How many people would need to be invovled for this across new and media in nearly every country in the world? How many hoispital staff would need to be lying in both there social media posts and meida breifings? The effort it would involve is honestly mind boggling

I think your example is ridiculous, has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Rather than thinking for yourself you'll shutdown any opinion with "conspiracy theorist" or "right-wing". Here's an example, You sit in the pub and the news comes on or daily briefing, they tell you "put on a mask", "stay indoors because we are quarantining healthy people", "this is the new normal", "Covid will be with is for years to come", "only a vaccine will stop all this" and you say ok I'll do everything you say, because you think they know what is best for you, just sit tight and wait for the vaccine.
No analysing or thinking for yourself at all. Nothing to do with control or taking away our freedom bit by bit...has the penny dropped???.

Your questions were answered rationally and with evidence.

You came back with various unverified websites and rumors that contradict the established view of COVID at this time.

You were told where to go with this sort of argument.

Now you're getting defensive because no one is agreeing with you.

If you're not willing to change your mind in the fact of fact and evidence, then why do you expect people to change theirs in the absence of fact and evidence?
Why should we listen to you and your ramblings and not medical professionals the world over?

Looks like there are plenty of people on this forum, who want to give up their freedom and comply to these draconian laws, asking no questions or have no concerns with anything imposed on us. It has already been established that the number of deaths given were misleading and inaccurate but yet they are willing to let Varadkar, Martin, Donnolly, Harris the media and so called (one-sided point of view) health professionals (who get their guidelines from the WHO) make the decisions for them, think for them.
The scandals in nursing homes, cancer patients prevented from getting treatment, rise in mental health, suicides and anxiety all because of this virus that is being used to control us.

The farce of a Covid app, (I bet all the ones attacking me on here downloaded it) great way for the government to track us and know our location.
Mandatory muzzle wearing, odd that when things were really bad 3/4 months ago they were not mandatory.
Life as we knew it is gone forever, everything we took for granted. Those that will do as they are told, will go along with everything, just wait patiently for the vaccine.
After all of this, the ones on here still glorify and put their total trust in the government.
