Well done to all who brought us to today. It hasn't been an easy 3 months for many of us, but today is a great day.

It took a lot of hard sitting at home on my behind, drinking cans, playing games and binging Netflix whilst I was supposed to be "remote working" but I am very proud of what I accomplished. I'll tell my grandkids about my sacrifices.

It seems to make sense to open things up sooner, our numbers are quite good (R etc)... unlike the UK. This still looks like a decent middle ground RE dates.

I think will be working from home til August it's not too bad really.
I would dread a crammed bus journey to and from work tbh

So Leo just confirmed any pub that can have table service will be able to open at the end of June. They don't need a restaurant license.

I would guess we will see the July 20th easing brought forward, a lot will end up being included in June 29th easings. They won't announce it to near the time. There is going to be a lot of business leaders urging the government to allow them to open sooner.

For months? apart from Sweden where was open to that degree in March?

Denmark opened them at end of April, most others like Spain, Germany, Austria etc. start of May. So that will be over or nearly 2 months by June 29th, when I'd be hopeful they'll be allowed to open here.

Edit: to be fair to you I made a typo in my first post, I said "now" when I meant "then" - I've fixed it now.

Are you going to a barber or a sheep shearer?

I'm not into all that hipster grooming rubbish. Number 4 back and sides and scissors trim the top.

Can't stand George Lee! How fair is it to expect people to keep their lives on hold for any longer than is necessary?

Any pub that doesn't already serve food will be stocking up on Dr. Oetker pizzas and bacon fries now.

Months would by all May, all April. So anything that opened in May is not part of the comment I am taking issue with. Anything in April questionable too.

Didn't Ireland become effected after other nations - Italy for eg was well before Ireland, so it would make sense we would also be after them in coming out of it.

He is a freak, worse than nphet. At least they are medics. Now he’s worried for staff forced to come to work. He had a meltdown there live on tv. Embarrassed for him

As is everyone with a lockdown fetish. He really just wants someone to tie him up and tell him he’s a bold boy.

It is proof of that much-quoted adage that this shall pass, not that too many really believed it in March. A good learning exercise in that respect.

Ridiculous that barbers and hairdressers aren’t being brought forward.

Does that come under personal services?
