No dice in Donegal here either. How close to the moon was it? Still pretty bright here

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭stevek93

Launch today was something else fantastic to watch.

Pretty sure what you all(most) saw was the ISS as a good portion of posts were before it was predicted to fly by.

Pretty clear skies here, ISS spotted at round 22:11+ and nothing after that. Must have been too low on the horizon for me.

It was a good bit below the moon, going right to left in the sky.

Watching NASA TV at 22.15 30/5/2020

Trump, his mouthpiece before him trying to sound like JFK, George Floyd, yada yada - he sounds like a bad preacher.

    I cringe for you America.

And he's still speaking - Ouch

How far behind the ISS was it meant to be?

Saw the ISS very clearly but nothing after.

    In Durham UK,

Got a great bright view of the ISS, then a few minutes later a fainter slower moving shuttle. Nothing wrong with my eyesight (Covid reference).
