Childish. Prove my point and dodge the entire post. I don't believe you are a first time FG based on your attitude.
When I complain it's about specific issues. If FG changed policy I'd be more likely to support them.

Imagine standing in the corner of Coppers, slagging some lad because he's only been with 8 women in his life, while the other fella has been with 17 in the same timespan, and you yourself have never gotten the shift. That's what that post reads like.

Lol, that sounds like Sinn Fein all right. Probably complaining that the guys who get jobs unfairly take all the women while the women should recognise the qualities of those who sit on their arse all day.

    WTF?
Half day today lads, or on the hop?

    Coppers.... gotten the shift...

As for "complaining that the guys who get jobs unfairly"... I would imagine that's fairly universal... True colours coming out in inglorious form there.

The tactic is classic FF FG. Belittle and demean the electorate's that don't vote for them. It worked in a simpler age.

Poster was slagging FG for having been in power so little over the last 100 years. It's pretty fcuking stupid to be throwing that around as an insult when your own party has literally never been in power and is defined by their permanent status of being 'in opposition'.

I'm merely pointing out that stupidity using a metaphor that even the most brazen, knuckle-dragging 'Ra head can fathom.

Maybe I'm confusing you with the lad posting all the Republican history?
Theres so many of ye,5 or 6 anyway

As for me,I'm a contrarian, a devils advocate, you wouldn't want to rely on anything I say about myself, because it will vary depending on the point just expect me to tackle any argument when theres holes in it
Usually socialist or hard left parties I question in the politics sphere
    It's never personal
How could it be in an anonymous setting
I only know of one person here foolishly using their real name
I dm'ed them wondering why they dont have their eircode in their profile while they're at it :D
    They've changed their user name
Good deed done that day for someone

I knew the FG persona was arrogance but I thought it was just Leo that got bratty and bitter under pressure. The bile he's spouting since the election is ver concerning. The party seem to have major psychological issues. It's a concern to have them with any authority. They make Fianna Fail seem almost preferable, which I'd never thought I'd say.

Personally I find it boring that any policy or political discussion turns into a schoolyard slanging match. It's not personal no. That's what's kind of amusing with some who will cite an old anonymous handle or insult you. The party thing plays a role as regards discussion.
Using every opportunity to make a dig is tiresome. Each to their own.

That would explain why it was so sh*t.

I chose not to mention that a few day ago, maybe a week.
I think the damage they are doing is going to be hard to come back from.
The FG diehards may like it, but they forgot who makes up the majority of their votes when they eventually get in.
I peronally have grown to dislike them so much over the course of this election that I could and would never vote for them in future.
Their stance and text was abominable.
Funnily, on their wiki page it says (and it appears first in google results)
Fine Gael describes itself as a "party of the progressive centre" which it defines as acting "in a way that is right for Ireland, regardless of dogma or ideology". It lists its core values as "equality of opportunity, free enterprise and reward, security, integrity and hope."

Somebody is going to need to edit that page. A load of horsesh*t.

As against the SF approach of taxing anyone who doesn't vote for them!

Are they? By what? The shyte talk from the opposition eager Varadkar or the deluded MM who thinks the SD's might go in with him?
The SD's are best off sticking to having nothing to do with either.
SF seemingly don't want to govern, then do but can't depending on the mood Leo and Michael are in :)
It's FG pretending the nation is terrified, the ass.

Is it 86 TDs not in FF or FG? Plenty of majority in that, why aren't Sinn Fein talking to them instead of holding rallies in Newry?

    That's how SF are rattled?
Because FG just told FF they defo are sticking to relishing being in opposition. Both FF and FG won't deal with SF despite the publics wishes to have them involved in the democratic process of governing.
This idea that a democratic party holding rallies is some how an issue is faux paranoid mania from people with no decent care for the governing of the country. It's moronic quite frankly.

Freat tactic taught by their leader, answer zero questions, avoid any callouts and just point out something stupid. Failing that, every few posts mention that SF were linked to the IRA.

It's almost as though they were schoolkids..

With the obvious exception of the aul lad that just started voting FG in December.

You're overthinking the Vardkar response. Ask him a question about some things and the answer comes without filters. The reality is SF do not have the numbers so they can't govern but seem to think blaming parties who will not consider them as partners as the right way forward. FF are between a rock and a hard place, they might have some partners but to get into government would have to face an equally unpalatable choice. FG will go into government if they like the deal but would be just as happy being BFF with SF on the opposition benches.

Because he's a bit of a brat and likes to strike out.
TBF, FF/FG have not come out and said they won't deal with the Greens, SD's etc.
FG said no to FF today.

Yesah Noel Grealish, Peter Fitzpatrick, Verona Murphy...very likely candidates to support a left-wing government...

That is not how democracy works. Sinn Fein got 24% of the vote. That does not mean the public wish to have them involved in the democratic process of governing.

It certainly seems that Sinn Fein and its cheerleaders reflect the entitlement culture that voted for them.

Are you saying that Mary-Lou was wrong (and all of the other posters on here) when she said that the public voted for change.

That is a known quality about him and it was refreshing when he was just a TD! The two of them can work with anyone of the rest in the centre and I'd pay no heed to anything said unless it's Leo asking Michael D for another election. While that hasn't happened there is scope for something.

Well if the people who voted for Verona Murphy and Noel Grealish want 'change', I doubt somehow it's the same change SF are offering...

Change is indeed in the eye of the beholder as is "that's not what I voted for"!

You are not speaking on my point. Don't know why you quoted it.
You asked why SF won't talk to FF/FG. I explained now you have moved on rather than addressing that. As is often your want.

SF got a good size of support from the public, therefore members of the public would like to see them involved in some form of governing. I did not say they should be in or are automatically in. Don't infer I did and expect to be taken with any credibility.

And in with a shyte effort at a dig. Good man.
