what about all those that said that britain would definitely leave on Oct 31st? Are they wrong about everything as well?

The dates are irrelevant and the minor hiccups on the way or barriers by remainers are also not important.

It's happening and it will be fine....for the UK.

well no. You were insistent that they would leave on Oct 31st. something that you were completely wrong about. so can we assume then that you are wrong about every else if we are to follow your logic?

days or weeks towards the correct end result on one hand then you have the remainers who are claiming with zero evidence and the UK will decline at an alarming rate while the EU is some power player...Jeysus, will you wake up.

The EU is an utter joke, as is all the Nato members outside of the US and UK. That should give you a real idea how the world works.

You're the one throwing the toys out of the pram every time someone disagrees with you or is critical about Brexit.

Not at all, I am just stating it will happen. I have watched every corner of the Irish media and social media posts go into the most pathetic stance regarding this and complete denial where some where even talking about Jo Swinson and how to get her into number 10. I have been watching to the point where I was just sitting there thinking "are these people in complete denial or are they actually stupid". They clung like desperate losers to minor details over the 31st or previous, they hero-worshipped John Bercow and celebrated the efforts of a parliament to derail a democratic vote and ignored the huge implications of doing so.

As all this went on, anyone with any brains knew this was just a side show, as is the whole WA. The UK has a destination and by hook or by crook it will get there and that is to not be subjected to the rules of the EU, esp in terms of it's economy and it's global ambitions.

Try and take a long term view and not try to look for trivial little victories as it comes across as despertate.

UK will leave and will prosper. The UK economic model needs not to be tied with over regulation and this is what the EU fears most. I understand the EU fears as the UK will make mince meat of their socialist agenda on a head to head on trade and the rest will wake up to it.
The scream from the EU is absolute hysterics and desperatation.

Boris wins a majority today then mark it down as the beginning of the end of the EU as we know it. This will lead to either big changes, huge ones or thye are toast.

The UK will thrive as this low regulation centre point in europe and will take a huge cultural shift for the EU to catch up.

It's all about 'EU fear' with you crypto, and never a glance at the fact that it is the UK's fear of actually leaving which has us all here.

UK or the handful in the previous parliment. A majority for Boris today just shows the UK itself has no fear at all...maybe people should sit up and fear that.

    We will know at 10pm.

I am saying that those who have been saying about the disaster that will happen to the UK over brexit has been wrong on everything and will continue to do so

How have they been proven to be wrong, it hasn't even happened yet.

The UK elected that handful...a handful across all parties who have blocked leaving because of 'fear'. Nothing to do with EU fear at all.

And there is no guarantee that a known liar won't find a way to permanently stall leaving with extension after extension.

It was funny to watch the BBC only last night addressing what might be achievable from these 'great deals' the UK might get outside the EU. I could literally see more Tory defections when it comes to voting this measure through.

Fear in the UK, not the EU, who have been waiting patiently for a decision one way or the other.

You won't, they had to take a harder line to save the party. If the brexit party showed anything it was the tories can be wiped to a significant size that they are toast. The new line has saved them and a majority today will confirm that have to stay the line or be wiped forever next time.

    Hello 1960 is calling.
Really the big hitter in Nato is US, but what else would you expect from the nation that spends more on defense than all the other Nato members, plus most of the rest of the world, put together.

But putting UK in their as the next best thing is questionable.

Ahh FFS stop reading and relying on Irish media, it is beyond shyte at this stage.
And as for taking social media seriously, what age are you ?

Yep change that low regulation to also read low cost, as in pay your workers shag all so that they may compete with the developing world, is also the cultural shift that the likes of the Jacob Rees Moggs of this world want to ultimately install.

I am absolutely no fan of the EU (yes check my posts), but what UK is doing is looney land.
    Clueless is an apt description.
There was no plan and assuming the EU or anyone else will bend over backwards to do deals with the UK is very limited thinking.

Arch Brexiters have actually thought they could knock up an old trade agreement over a weekend, that they could take the EU trade deal and just change a few words to include the UK rather than EU and shure it would be all grand.

The problem is a lot of the arch Brexiters still think it is like the days the Royal Navy could show up and threaten some country to play ball.

Well those days are long gone and you and the other Brexit loons are going to discover that rather quickly once you are out.

The choice for the UK is brexit and take trade to the rest of the world where it really is happening or stay in this inward looking club getting ever increaasing socialist and will eventually implode.

Anyone with a brain knows the EU is a leftist hellhole.
