    Marmion on fire today.

After that tip on pass and that off load against Leinster last year, Delahunt is surely expelled from the Front Row union now.

He had his hands out to tackle. He was never looking to play the ball. Fairly obvious I thought. Consensus from those around me was that it was very harsh. Can’t see how he batted the ball down.

Even if we assume for a moment that he didnt deliberately intend to prevent the ball reaching the connacht player, his tackle technique was still atrocious. The hand that knocked the ball was nowhere near wrapping. He simply wrapped one arm and stuck the other one straight out toward the ball. And by total coincidence, it also happened to stop a certain try. You cant complain when you are binned for that.

Anyway as I type this Connacht score another try. Ospreys are going to have nightmares about Galway.

They did the same when you praised Godwin earlier in the first half :D

Not trying to take anything away from Connacht who have been clinical today. The Ospreys are brutal though, possibly as bad as Dragons at this stage. Clarke picking up where he left of with Ulster.

Marmion should definitely be starting ahead of Murray against France though.

Cracknell is an absolute tackling machine, most tackles in the league and he damn near killed Godwin.

Ospreys embarrassing themselves at this stage, discipline is shocking.

Nothing wrong with that tackle, surely? Pass left him wide open to getting smashed.

Deliberate trip on the connacht winger surely?

We have some serious depth of centres at the moment.

That Ospreys captain looked absolutely shattered.
They are not in a good place at all.

Felt fairy sorry for him. Not an ideal place at all for them.

Excellent performance. Godwin is a quality footballer, been a really superb signing, himself and Fain’ga have made a big difference this season. Marmion really laid down a marker too, expect to see him in Ireland 23 next week.

Need to get better at having blockers around rucks though, that must be third or fourth try we have conceded from block downs this season, Ospreys lad just had straight line to run.

Treviso home, Zebre away and Cardiff home for play off spot likely, happy with that though could be nearly out of sight already.

Marmion and Godwin were great - but how nice is it to have a fit Peter Robb available for selection

Want to start with saying ospreys put out one of those every its time preformed I’ve seen at the sports ground (including some bad Connacht ones). Think it effectively knocks ospreys out of the race for 3rd spot

He had an easy game to switch to ten but it was great to see what godwin could do there, especially with the conditions. He’s been a great signing so far. Marmion is back to his best and no question will be in the Irish 23 next week. Thought Farrell played well too, consistently solid at 13.

Huge respect for peter Robb who was my man of the match. After being out for so long putting that preformance in on his first start. Center is s hugely competitive position now. Thought Stephan Fitzgerald was solid again, really like the look of him and hope he is retained next season.

Hard to fault anyone out there today, that was one of the most complete performances I've seen, no matter how bad Ospreys were. A fortunate block down try was all that saved them from a whitewash.

Delighted for Robb - out for so long and no contract next season so was possibly going to be released, but he made a very strong case for himself today. Seriously stacked at centre now.

Cardiff 7 all with Kings at half time. Not expecting a massive favour but even keeping them without try bonus point would be good

Kings converted a last minute try to secure an lbp, but more importantly ensure that Cardiff only won by 7 which leaves us ahead on points difference

    Connacht 47| Ospreys 39| Cardiff 47
    Treviso (H)4| Dragons (H)5|Scarlets (H)4
    Zebre (A)5| Cheetahs (A)1|Munster (A)0
    Cardiff (H)4| Kings (A)5|Connacht (A)1
    Munster (A)0| Cardiff (A)1|Ospreys (H)4

    Connacht 60
    Cardiff 56
    Ospreys 51

The Cardiff vs Scarlets game in the next round is a very interesting one.
Beating Treviso with our internationals back should be achievable.
