Missed the Cheetahs game so can’t really comment on that but thought Kelleher was excellent certainly up till Xmas - ball bouncing off head aside.

No Welsh players released for Ospreys, even with a 10 out of position, no excuse not to be winning this game.

Putting out a 23 with no out half in it in a season-defining must win game.

Have been really disappointed with kelleher in the last few weeks. He started the season in flying form but he’s butchering attacks and defensively not sound at the minute. Few times against the cheetahs he could have played a pass to put someone else in but he went himself. Fitzgerald looks hungrier for game time and hasn’t put in a bad shift yet, looking forward to seeing more of him

He's never been defensively sound IMO. That one big tackle down in SA is the exception not the rule.

The weather could make a lottery of it though - very wet and windy tomorrow. Delighted Roux and Dillane are back, we should hopefully dominate possession if we can keep the error count down.

He had good pace and a good side step, which has got him a few try’s in fairness but he hadn’t shown much more than that. Poor defensively, poor unmarried a high ball and poor decision making. Think Stephan Fitzgerald will be no step down if Connacht and retain him next season

peter robb is playing , wow, havent seen him in a long time. i always had him as a likely break through to the irish set up

    I can't believe it's not Butler
    Beautiful team try.

    Great break by Robb.

Marmion involves twice and a lovely inside pass to put Farrell away.

Robb was excellent there. Great to see him back again.

Robb is like a new signing at this stage of the season. Super line

In fairness, you make your own luck. That was good chasing from the Ospreys to make that.

You'll need a big lead with this wind as well.

Such a cheap try to concede.

    Thats a wrong call

Great work from Godwin after his big mistake. Think Colby knew well what he was doing tbh.

    Terrible call.

Ospreys has a man covering who made an awful attempt at a tackle.

Fainga didn’t change his line or even look for where the Ospreys player was

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,320 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Ah jaysus. He just stood where he was. Never changed position or moved to block anyone. Can’t make yourself disappear.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,384 ✭✭✭macslash

In fairness what was Colby supposed to do?? Move out of the way for your man. Wrong decision in my opinion

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Thats harsh. At worst it was 50:50 and you should always give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking side.

Was Colby crossing? I saw the try, went for a piss and came back and it was disallowed?

For blocking a tackler but I think that try is allowed more often than not.

His arse was called for a block. Extremely harsh call.

Great try. No less than they deserve. They should be further ahead with a more sympathetic ref.
