Getting up early to get a parking spot for the Pope's visit. I'm sure the demographic going drive Micra's with Jesus as their copilot. :)

And because they are holding their phone flat in their hand on loudspeaker as opposed to up their ear they seem to think this makes them exempt from traffic laws.:mad::mad:

Don't forget the Padre sticker right in front of their face.

The typical Micra driver will also have trouble seeing over the steering wheel, finding gears, finding their way, knowing when it's red lining is enough(too much) just for taking off, which gear to be in so just keep it in 2nd, tax and nct and insurance discs in front of their face also.....

You forgot using the white lines on the middle of the road as a guide while driving at half the speed limit and then slamming on the brakes as soon as a speed van is spotted.
At least you'll never spot a Micra driver on the phone while driving.

This reminded me of one of my favourite "bits" in new old top gear

Just had a spin in a 640d there at lunch time, nice bit of extra poke in it over the 530d.

Funny seeing the two old drivers stereotyping old drivers.

Yes but the funny thing is both can drive quite well even captain slow which does sound strange typing this.....

After all that I was expecting the cars to have more damage then they had.

Right folks I'm in need for suggestions. I'm stuck in hospital the past few days and no idea when I'll be out. The Wi-Fi is good hence I'm looking for some good movie films which I can watch to pass the time. Bonus points for a great car chase. Already done Bullitt so that's off the menu.

It's been years since I watched it now, but Ronin was a good one:

    Some savage car chases.

Oh, and my all time favourite film:

    The Blues Brothers

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blues_Brothers

Absolutely amazing film, and some crazy car scenes as it goes on!

Get well soon dude, hopefully it's nothing too serious. Almost found myself in A&E on Saturday... just about managed to sort myself out without having to go in.

"The World's Fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins, bikes as opposed to cars but it's a good watch.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, Ronin is tickling my fancy!

I watched the above a few months back. Never heard of it but it's definitely a strong recommendation to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Smokey and The Bandit 1 & 2. Worth it alone for Jackie Gleason.

Not movies as such and maybe two wheels too few for you but both these are a great watch.

The 'Taxi' (french films) films especially the first one are fantastic films for car action and laughs.

Same 313hp engine as in the 535d, although the extra weight of the bigger 6 makes it a tad slower. How did it handle compared to the 5 bazz? Bit more barge like I'd guess?

Oh, and my all time favourite film:

    The Blues Brothers

It's got a cop motor, a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say? Is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

    Oh and RIP Aretha Franklin
