It's sad so many users do not know the rules of the road.

Explains why our insurance premiums are so high.

Everyone so arrogant and self important.

Truckdriver got assaulted and had to call the police after van driver found out the story was on dashcam.

It looked like the trucker moved left at 0:24 ?

He did but the lane was clearly going to close before anyone could pass unfortunately some idiots need reminding of this. Delighted the van got a slap and hopefully driver is found liable

What happened! The overtake? Looked perfectly timed & executed legally.

Glad I wasn't the only one that thought that.

the only thing that stood out to me is why overtake just to get stuck behind a lorry

To overtake the lorry at next opportunity perhaps?

Except that the van wasn't back on the right side of the road before the overtaking stretch ended.

The van crossed a straight white line on the left side when it rejoined the correct lane, all passing out has to be carried out over dotted white line on the respective side. So the overtake was against the rules of the road. The upcoming corner is probably the reason for the dotted white line to finish.

Plus, only 4 seconds elapse when the van started to cross crossed the white line and the oncoming car.

4 seconds at a possible combined speed of 200kmh? thats a good bit distance wise.

The upcoming bend, not a corner, had nothing to do with it, as it actually increases the visibility ;)

It's more to do with junction ahead.

If there was no junction traffic going in the op direction would have broken line and the opposite traffic would be prohibited from overtaking.

The van was a little late returning and obviously tried to see if he can overtake the truck in time. He returned a little late, but nothing too crazy.

Hard to tell but looks like he was trying to overtake on a bend in rain and lost it.

Some of the comments say that he crossed a white line while cornering, something any biker will tell you is a no no!
