Remember the guy who posted on Facebook that traveler babies should be feed to sharks?
That guy was charged and sent for trial.

A traveler shoots a traveler baby no charge and move on nothing to see here.

What a total load of bs. 2 people have been arrested. What else do you want? Them to be in stocks?

But there has been a man charged

Well if I am wrong I am glad to be wrong is this instance.
I believe this crime should carry serious prison time.

The alleged shooter Mr. Dan Donovan was given consent to bail in court this evening. Link
RTE report doesn't have the amount of cash bail so it's anyones guess whether he'll be able to pay the bail.

What does consent to bail mean?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,166 ✭✭✭Are Am Eye

What does consent to bail mean?

It means he will be allowed to take up bail if he meets a number of conditions. Money is the main one. There are no details in that report of the amount or whether sureties are required - that's RTE for you. If he doesn't meet conditions he remains in jail. At anytime he can take up the bail if he is able to.

Possession of a firearm, and "making a threat to kill".
Attempted murder, grevious bodily harm x 3 would seem more like it, if they can prove he fired the gun.
Yesterday media sources seemed fairly certain that the woman arrested was the actual shooter

And in the bail conditions " inform the Gardai if you plan to leave the country".

Definitely an interesting fiscal exercise to undertake......all the while remembering that there will be a brace of SC's and various Solicituous Chaps all limbering up on the sidelines,as we debate.....;)

    So Children's Allowance is what 160 a month ?

His d*** is rewarded for 120 quid a month MORE than my 280 hour a month working gets me.

    Yeah that's right. Not.

I'd say some of them kids are above the age of claiming child benefit. Still a large chunk of change.

it actually doesn't, as there is one rule for all.
your point is still irrelevant and inaccurate.

    Jury selection, CCJ, yesterday.
Man: I can’t serve; I’m away for weekend.
Judge: We don’t sit at weekends.
    Man: I’m away till Monday. I’m 54, a bachelor & it’s my 1st time in love.
Judge: Then you GO and you GO with my blessing.

140 a month for each child under 18.
Twins get an extra 140 per month, per set of twins.

So in theory 15 kids under 18, with one set of twins would bring in 2240 per month, plus family income support. I don't know how much that would be, because the website only goes up to 8 children, and 8 would get you about 800 euro per month.
Of course non travellers can avail of the very same benefits, if they put the work in .... :D !
