Morning all. Had made a note yesterday that the underwear sounds like a task but I was afraid to mention it in case it made me look suspicious. This game does wonders for ones paranoia..... my latest thing that I noted:

Doris mentioned a possible task, then Vernon and Desmond both “checked in”. Could it be that one team could only post after there was a mention of a task on thread?

Did mentioning a task trigger something?

Also morning to all. I dunno, prohibiting talk on the game thread doesn't seem tasky to me. Although, that being said, a larger volume of posts may have been expected yesterday... So rule nothing out for now.

I do think it's very unlikely though

Very little to go on for a task so far, only 60 posts so id have thought a task would be easy to spot, the underwear thing didn't feel like a task on reading back. The check in posts were close together though. Really not much to go on at this point

I'll agree, that does sound plausible, but I'm not part of it.

It's very quiet here. Too quiet.. Come on folks, we might as well let WCW and ECW run roughshod over us already if we're gonna all stay in the shadows... there won't be anything to go on if no one speaks.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,479 ✭✭✭Isla WW

Ok, I'll just talk to myself then.

    'How are you today Isla?'

I'm fine Isla, a bit peeved though.'

    'Why's that Isla?'

'Everyone is thinking of self preservation and want to stay quiet until after the munch'

'Well that doesn't seem like much fun Isla?'

'I know, Isla but it seems that's the way its gonna be?'

'Maybe you need to shake things up Isla.'

'Perhaps, Isla. Maybe I should break some hearts, take some names...'

    Morning all.

It definitely is quiet. I thought I’d have to wade through a 1001 gifs!

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,047 ✭✭✭Steve WW

    Awww Isla lol.

    This will cheer you up.....

If I had a daughter, I’d name her Isla as it’s a beautiful name :)

It wasn’t the timing, it was the wording.

Cleared 20 mins to look at the thread this morning and nothing. Disappointing.

There has to be something though otherwise there's no kill this morning from my reading of it. Which leads me to....

    Fcuked if I know.

Aww thanks Steve, I'd love to say I came up with myself but... well... :pac:

Not sure I can wait till the morning. Someone get me some tables, a ladder and a briefcase. It's ON! Oh Yeeeah!

This post stands out to me above the rest tbh.

Mention of a match and a Randy Savage quote.

There has been a few match references throughout, didnt know it was a Savage quote. If there is a kill then the positives is there is something in those low number of posts to be found

    Right, here we go.

Quality OP and premise. The WWF image gave me a full-force kick in the nostalgias.

Bra and panties matches, I totally forgot about them.

I remember Trish Stratus vs Stacey Keibler in a 'Bra and Panties Paddle on a Poll' match with Jerry Lawlor commentating. Mad looking back at it now...

The Attitude Era. It really was a different time :pac:

This is the other one I would be looking at tbh. A few mentions of wrestlers not included in OP and a commentator.

    Flimsy though tbh.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,818 ✭✭✭Phil WW

There's no mention of a fail scenario in relation to the munch, so my reading would be that there is always one team who will 'win', and earn the right to a munch. Maybe one team gets a munch by default, but the other team can steal the munch from them if they complete a task?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,479 ✭✭✭Isla WW

Perhaps. It would probably defeat the purpose of the tasks though if that was the case would be my only thought on your theory Phil.

    From the OP

    Please Note:

Team WCW and Team ECW, on certain days, will compete for kills with an on-thread task. These tasks will NOT include any forms of hidden messages, grammar, gif posting or spelling mistakes.

    Go mental gifsters!
