Just reading back some of the comments over the last few days and the mention of Katie Hopkins reminded me of someone I hadn't heard of in a while......I've very little time for Hopkins but I would love if Kelly had Hopkins on as a guest someday. It would be "interesting". :pac:

I think she did have her on not too long ago.

Really? Was it a friendly chat or the sound of two cats screeching? I'd have assumed they would metaphorically kill each other....but perhaps they found some common ground over a lobster lunch at l'Ecrivain?

As far as I remember it was a civil discussion about Brexit. I was surprised Kelly asked her on. A few weren't happy that she was asked on, but fair play to Kelly, she defended the interview on free speech grounds.

Who cares about the opinion of this old relic? Terry Prone giving advice on appearance.....??

    Am I missing something here?

A pensioner with a cheap "pound shop mask " facelift telling people they look ridiculous in short sleeves!

Gimme a break Terry. Go home and drink yer cocoa

That's a little uncivil I must say. I thought the segment fine myself. Usefull for some.

Telling people how to dress for work or an interview isn't superficial in the slightest. Common sense really, but thats lacking these days.

I agree. Let the two of those alpha females go head to head, let them slug it out on an inflatable dinghy.........in the mid Atlantic........wearing golf shoes.

    Win win...

Calling kelly an alpha female is hilarious, she would be torn apart by hopkins both verbally and physically

    Ageism !! Ageism !!

    Where's me picthfork :pac:

I wonder do old people actually drink cocoa cause I don't know any that do.

My granny used to drink Horlicks which was like vomit in a cup.

Maybe Ciara could do a segment on it.

    Anyway, apologies, i digress..

Useful if you were likely to turn up for an interview in a tracksuit or a pair of thigh high pvc boots......

Other than that,it was meaningless waffle from a professional waffler. IMO of course.

Terry Prone talks to you like she's talking to a four year old. She's available for any radio program to give her expertise on anything at the drop of a hat. (Well, except that she wont discuss Kate Fitzgerald or her work with the Bon Secours.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,022 ✭✭✭anthonyjmaher

Was there no school gate free today for them to have this bitchy conversation about other people's communions?

I bought the first edition of this back in 1979 when Terry Prone was just a slip of a thing but found it completely useless - like most of her radio contributions

Funny how she has managed to stay in employment in her field for 39 years given she is completely useless.

Probably because she's got zero morals and will do or say anything for a paycheque, example: working pr for bon secours and her disgusting comments about tuam also dont forget kate fitzgerald

The woman and her husband are both vile parasites that have been enmeshed in our national media for far too long

Don’t forget the son.....cut from the saw cloth but smiles his way to popularity. He even has a bit of a cult following in these parts.

"I wont be here on Thursday. I have my YOGA!"
Jimmy, fifteen minutes later, on the phone to his friends - "The oul biddy is away on Thursday so get the van over there first thing".

If that ad had a video, it would be on YouTube with subtitles added for "What Jimmy is really thinking".

I look forward to ciaras goerge hook esque lack of tech knowledge and assumptions of computers being basically magic as far as she is concerned so why can't they do exactly what she wants? Also I fully expect her to suggest stalinist levels of censorship as a solution.

Pat filleted Ciara today as she introduced today's hot topic on her show... premature ejaculation.

"i'm sure listeners will be gripped".

Actually her husband Tom Savage died last year and the enormous turn out at his funeral was a fitting tribute to a warm, engaging and very kind man.

And a very powerful man, but that doesn't suit the narrative of course. An enormous turnoput doesn't mean anything like you've implied - there can be many reasons for it. There'll be an enormous turnout at Bertie Ahern's funeral too no doubt.

Good riddance, his actions along with his wife and sons to Kate Fitzgerald were deplorable. Also nobody should ever forget his overseeing of such an egregious and disgusting conflict of interest when as the head of RTE he employed his own company to run PR for RTE while they also ran PR for the catholic church at the height of the pedophile scandals.

Warm engaging and kind are the words only people who were able to help himself and his wifes goals would use to describe him.

Just heard the promo for today's show. They're going to be talking about why the phrase "Wolf in sheep's clothing" only applies to women". Think I'll be switching the dial; from 12 on....

Was the phrase used, not "mutton dressed as lamb" ? Regardless, more inevitable one sided dross from the good doctor.

I thought that was exclusively reserved for men? As in all men are potential rapists....and all that good stuff?
