Off all week. Be in the local all week. Really wish I was going this year but Aintree will make up for it

    Good idea.

A horse I am gonna keep a curios eye out for is Charli Parcs
    Depending on where he runs
If the ground is quick, and he is in the right race (not the ch of course) he will get a few pound ew
Ran well last time out in testing conditions
was on a par with Defi this time last year
NH likes this horse a lot

According to Hendersons stable tour yesterday he is CH bound, didnt seem too keen himself.

Last years juvenile form is rancid and I couldnt have any of them to be honest. Looks like Defi was simply the best of a bad lot.

Pity last seasons best novice hurdler wont be there this year. Would of loved to see him in the CH.

Did I read on ATR that Bachasson is being aimed at the Gold Cup? What do we make of that? He hasn't even ran over 3m yet

Yes Mullins mentioned the GC for him during yesterdays media day, he did stress however that it was owing to the wishes of the owners as opposed to his decision, didnt seem to keen himself.

Anyone thinking of backing Douvan would do well to find closutton on a map, checking the locals forecast for next week and realising Douvan unlikely to get much necessary prep this week. Has to be a negative at the proximity for him

Mick Jazz isn't the worst each way bet in the world at 33/1 in the Champion Hurdle. You'd think he'd be a definite runner in it after his win the last day and I don't think Faugheen will run. A lot of the horses ahead of him in the betting probably wont run either. Buveur D'air will probably cruise it but Mick Jazz might pick up the pieces.

Happy enough with the way that played out. Melon surprised me though, some run.

Sizing John must feel a little down standing in his box watching Native River run away with the Gold Cup

Racingpost rated this year's performance 7lbs ahead of last year.

Not knocking Sizing John but not sure he'd have been suited by the slog yesterday's race turned into

True but it’s a pity he was missing, the Irish challenge was weak this year.

3m round Aintree right up his alley I'd say

Though I'd be very wary of backing any horse from that Gold Cup if reappearing this season.

Henderson originally said Aintree for Might Bite but I'd leave him off for the season now. That race on Friday surely took its toll

I can understand that viewpoint. But Might Bite is a 9 year old with very few career races to his name, personally I'd want him to be racing more and with a 4 week gap between the Festivals this year, I'd prefer to see him run (assuming he came out of the race fine, which appears to be the case).

Some horses need the cotton wool approach, most can take the strain. I was amazed how well Native River looked in the winners enclosure afterwards, ears pricked, can we go around again etc? I'd love to see him at Aintree as well, but it's very unlikely I think.

Surprised Ricci or gigginstown haven't already dipped their toes in the English trainer market. Is there any reason why they haven't sent some horses over yet? Yes Mullins and Elliott are supreme trainers but surely some of the English grade 1's would be easy won if ricci/o leary had some of their top horses in england?

Maybe contesting Betfair Chases and King George's don't appeal to them but I'd rate Henderson v highly and I'd like to see Paul Nicholls been backed by a big owner and back contesting Grade 1's. His ability to bring back horses year after year and have them spot on is incredible despite their range of issues (Kauto, Denman, Big Bucks) and comes across very genuine. It must be tough for him to not have the quality of horse to go for the big races at Cheltenham after the highs of previous years.
