    Was a cracking scrap too, tearing. I hope the big one can live up to the billing. Suppose human error not sure he'll get sacked. They should have bloody rey started the fight in position and called human error

    Shouldnt of interviewed Weidman he looked a bit concussed there, complete bull**** decision mistakes happen ref shoulda restarted the fight in that position soon as he found out it was legal, doctor had to be thrown out the cage instantly.

    It's the refs fault. The doctors stopped the fight because they have no idea what the rules are. No replays allowed in New York. The whole New York commission is and always will be a joke

    On the fight itself, Weidman has to get better boxing defence. His head is left wide open and his hands down.

    Mousasi did not look like himself at all but was really turning it on in the second round

    If the ref didn't stop it Weidman was getting his second horrible knockout in a few months and probably be considering retirement and Gegard is in the mix for a title fight.

    Now what will happen is Weidman can make excuses for the loss and Gegard gets screwed over and be forced to have a rematch.

    Even though we can't base fights off of false stoppages etc it's also fair to add that weidman wasn't gonna be fighting past those knees which were legal. Would have been stopped. Clearly concussed at the end of it, but again a rematch is what's best

    If UFC want the rematch I can see them paying Mousasi for his new contract, this fight might jsut get him the contract he wants. I wouldn't say he is asking for a ridiculous amount either, I'd say UFC will pay him
