Stiff cool breeze keeping temps bit low compared to how sunny and clear it is.
14c here but in shade and exposed to breeze seems more 8-10c.

Another fine sunny day here in wexford.
But the easterly wind would cut the eyes out of you especially on the cow roads with dust.

Satellite pic of Wexford today courtesy of NASA.
    Notice all the tilled fields.

Edit: just noticed how green it is from Blackwater up to Courtown. That would be the green part along the east coast of wexford.

It's easy know you got a bit of rain over the weekend.
The growth is not like that here.

This is today's satellite pic of Ireland.

We got about 3-4mm I'd say, definitely not more than 5mm. That's the field they're in atm. I'm looking at either bringing silage ground back in or 12 hour allocations and ration up to 5kgs. Neither appeals, tbh.

Freezing threw on an oil coat over the overalls to break the wind

As with everything, there is prob a happy medium...

Before I say anything now, I should say I am prob understocked at the minute...

But this year was the first time I had fertiliser out fairly early... and it went better than I had expected... I'll be doing it again...

As everything don't go by the time of year though.
    Go by the weather conditions.
If the soil temperature is 6c and no frost or cold weather looks to be on the horizon. Fire away.
