You were a bit light with that grass seed Buford.:P
With the modern varieties now a bag to the acre doesn't cut it anymore.
    That's what I think anyway.
I put a bag and a half on the last bit I did.

Middle of a field. They did a bit of damage about 5 weeks ago but it's a dry field so the damage wasn't too bad. I was expecting better cover there by now, tillering has stopped completely there. We're in need of a heavy couple of showers now just to get grass growing again and ground covers up a good bit.

Remember mid 70's as being very fine weather.

1995 was an awesome summer and it ran right on into mid October before it broke.

Raining here in East Clare. In time to wash in the fertiliser I spread 2 days ago.

Spread some 10 10 20 today. Ground dry and hard. I don't think I have had proper rain in 6 weeks. Grass growth is definitely been affected. Hoping for a proper downpour.

Got about ten drops of rain

Had a few light showers yesterday and looks like the same for today here, mild though.

Ground has dried great and grass growing on well. Topped some rush and grazed ground yesterday and was delighted how ground held up.

We had rain yesterday here too... and it might make some more again today by the look of it...

I was away the past two weeks, and the change in 2 weeks is very noticeable... not sure grass growth has been super, but it's come on a bit too...
The trees / ditches / briars have come on savage tho ;)

Fecking cold though, there was a wind that would cut you yesterday eve... Strange for May bank holiday...
