Well i flippin dont. He has a good head on his shoulders, 13or so years on me, a good system going farming and doing bit of contracting to make a few bob and getting properly educated. Has it all ahead of him. OH AND NO WIFE.☺☺☺. Anyway on the weather front. No dew this morning here. See photos of a clod of clay i took out of the ground yesterday walking the re-seed. Its bone dry to 80mm. Rowing up for silage later so that may draw the rain.

    Very light rain here now.

Strong smell of ozone after it falling on the ground.

What causes that, only seems to happen after a dry spell?

I think it's the salt being left behind on the ground after all the water evaporating from the ground during a dry spell and the first shower of rain turns it back into a gas.
Maybe it's not salt (but it could be because it's formed from sea spray during stormy times on the ocean) but along those lines anyway.:D

No rain here. YR has changed its mind for next week. No rain until Sunday night into Monday and only 0.8mm until Saturday. That wont do.
