    I think it's the salt being left behind on the ground after all the water evaporating from the ground during a dry spell and the first shower of rain turns it back into a gas.
    Maybe it's not salt (but it could be because it's formed from sea spray during stormy times on the ocean) but along those lines anyway.:D

    Just out in the garden there and it was dropping for maybe 15 minutes but didnt rain yet.. Sky is getting the look of thunder about it..

    No rain here. YR has changed its mind for next week. No rain until Sunday night into Monday and only 0.8mm until Saturday. That wont do.
