Yeah its bizarre, I'm the same! I'm an Ireland first, then Leinster fan and the other provinces wouldn't be too far behind. Connacht would probably be my number 3 considering the fairy tale season they are having.

Have you changed your avatar to Leinster's logo in an effort to doom them?

I think he's just finally come to the ultimate realisation that Leinster are the way forward. He's seen all the evidence he needs to see in the RDS the last few seasons and he's fully embraced it now.

He's also getting digs if we lose....

Every time I change my avatar to a team's badge they lose, yes.

I want Connacht to win it this year.

The burning question is who are you going to jinx with your avatar? Do you want Connacht to win just as much as you want Saracens to lose the Premiership final and miss out on the double?

If the Madden Curse can be broken then the Awecurse can be broken too.

Is the curse in the avatar or the wish though, that's the question....

Now that's a thought that's going to keep me up at night!

The 'Double David' is currently available at ~ 12/1 for any of the Romantics about.

(Exeter to beat Saracens and Connacht to beat Leinster)

    Where is this ?

Will it really? Would you really wear a Saracens logo, is there no price too high to pay?

30,000 tickets sold. It was a great decision by the Pro12.

Could be a lot of empty seats but there you go.

Is the PRO 12 big enough that you can name the stadium in advance? I don't think so. But it's not just rugby that suffers from this, Liverpool were complaining about Basel being too small, but Sevilla returned lots of their 8000 tickets. Perhaps they should have a back up plan, like TP for this final.

    How dare they...

The point is that over-exuberant celebrations after one game are often followed by a flat performance in the next.

Cf: Ireland v France, RWC 2015.

Ulster were never beating Leinster in that final irrespective of their semi final celebrations. Luckily the final was postponed an before kick off and never actually played.

It's seriously poor planning to pick Edinburgh on a weekend with other big events on. Impossible to find accommodation at this stage. If they're going to pre select the final venue they need to take the fans needs into account a bit more.

They need to have a fortnight at least between Pro 12 semi finals and final to give supporters more time to arrange travel/accommodation. Hopefully next season with no RWC, things will be less pressurised and there will be better planning of fixtures.

Ok all the flights and accommodation stuff aside lets try a bit of 'unbiased' analysis.
Lets start by saying the only likely starting change made by either team would possibly be Rob Kearney for Isa.
So then its Loughney, McCartney, Bealham vs McGrath, Strauss and Ross. Ok slight advantage to Leinster
Muldowney and Dillane vs Toner and Kearney. Slight advantage to Connacht
McKeon, Heenan and Muldoon vs Ruddock, Murphy and Heaslip. Honours even
Marmion vs Reddan. Here a bit of bias. I believe Marmions sniping runs over Reddans lateral play gives advantage Connacht
McGinty vs Sexton. Advantage Leinster. Very similar players but Sexton's goalkicking could be crucial.
Henshaw and Aki vs Teo and Ringrose. Advantage Connacht
Healy and Niyi vs Fitz and D Kearney. Advantage Connacht but if Luke is at his best he could match Matt
    O'Halloran vs Kearney. Advantage Connacht

    Reserves:
Cooney, Heffernan, Ah You vs Dooley, Cronin, Furlong definite advantage Leinster
    Browne vs Furlong advantage Leinster
    O'Brien vs Conan is evens
    Cooney vs McGrath is evens
Robb vs Madigan is advantage Connacht on the basis that Madigan is liable to do anything while Robb is simply rock solid

I see this game as anyone's.

I was travelling in hope rather than expectation, but that has swayed me to the cautiously optimistic side.

Connacht are in the Pro12 final and ouncer posts something that changed my opinion.

It's shaping up like a very very special week!
