I usually use an app called "SOUND PROFILE" that switches profiles at different times of the day, but it's not working on my 1+3.
I understand it's being shut down from running in the background to save battery, but I can't work out how to add an exception for that app.

    Plug your headphones in! ;)

Its a pity that Audio Tuner doesn't show up in some music apps like Google Music. I have to use a shortcut maker to put it on the desktop.

As with the last reply plug in earphone jack and then turn it on. As soon as you unplug the earphone jack it is grayed out again

Same with myself, also on 4.1.6.

I'm on 4.1.5 the update to 4.1.6 notification is waiting to be pressed for the past two weeks or so and I haven't updated yet. I find that since going to 4.1.5 that my dialling menu is crap..
I can't select a contact and hit the message icon, instead I have to go into messages and message from there, I could do this before.
When I do have a number from the contacts menu up on screen I have to hold the number for a second, then select the sim to call from. It was easier on the old version.
So if I upgrade to 4.1.6 will these be fixed if the 4.1.5 is recalled?
    Thanks.

Very hit and miss for me too, sometimes I can leave it in my shirt pocket without a bother other times it keeps going nuts in my pocket like its trying to read a fingerprint. More worrying mine has started turning itself of randomly which is very annoying.

I keep getting warnings about the Facebook app using lots of power even though it could only be using 2%, some apps can be using 6% but no warnings.

    Any reason for this?

The official app is supposed to be a resource hog. I use an app called Simply Pro for it.

    I'm getting that too.

More worryingly, my Internet connection keeps dropping without warning. I'm with virgin mobile and it shows as 4g or h+, but when I try and use the browser or WhatsApp nothing happens.
Same at home on WiFi, it shows as connected but after a few minutes of non use it is no longer receiving or sending data

I picked up an armband by Muvit in Forum Sport in Spain last year, works a treat. I'm sure you could get one online, it was for large devices. The phone is large to strap on your arm though, takes getting used to

Given OPs history, I'm surprised they are even bothering with Android O for the 3/3T, they drop phone support like a wet snot once they have a new model.

Still happy I didn't upgrade to the 5 though :-)

I dont think anyone would expect them to support it further than Android O.....if they even provide an update for O :(

Would be weird tbh. As an android developer for the 3 and 3t, I think I can give the reasoning. OP3 launched with M, OP3T launched with M. Then they both got N at the same time as the build were unified. They will both get O at the same time too.

The LG g5, s7, HTC 10 etc are SD 820 as well.and will.not be getting android O, the OP3 is 820 so it should get O as they said. It will.not be possible for the OP3 to get P as Qualcomm do not release the sources past two years, hence why the Nexus 5 didn't get N etc.

OP3T users have the short straw here, but they can't provide it the OP3T and not the 3 as the software is unified. The 3T launched with M as they were in the process of unifying the hydrogenOS and OxygenOS teams, and the SD 820 was in short supply along with 2017 coming soon so they had to release it when they could. The SD821 will have it sources publicised due to the Pixels receiving N by default so they will get P, along with the g6 most likely.

May be slightly confusing, I tried.my best to simplify it a bit haha.

Anyone able to answer this, my two apps, Remind Me and Sound Profile are useless as they won't run in the background. Is there a way to enable them to run all the time.

Hi hoping for some help here please?
The Do Not Disturb icon is on my one plus 3 and i cannot remove it. Moving the slider all the way up to silent and then back down does not work. Also restarting the phone does not help either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is anyone having very high android system usage recently? My battery standby has taken an awful hit recently and I can't put my finger on what's causing it.

Only noticed it on Apps like Facebook, Messenger and Snapchat. Their new updates drains my battery. Uninstalled it and battery became longer.

Yeah I'm almost constantly getting high battery usage warnings on these apps. I'll get rid of them and see how it goes. Thanks!
