Can anyone recommend a good screen protector for the OP3..?
Mine has picked up a silight tear and I want to replace it, I bought it off the Oneplus site originally but they've discontinued them now...

If you look back in the last few pages there are a few, I remember the most recent one was getting the best reviews but I am not sure how far back it is.

I am sending my OP3 back to have the screen replaced. They have informed me that the device will be hard reset and I will lose all my data. Can anyone suggest what applications they used to back up all their data?

I have many photos in different folders, whats app media, music etc.

    Any help appreciated!!

Google? As in google drive / pics, it will backup everything.

I can't believe that in this day and age everyone doesn't already have a backup plan in place!

The Whatsapp app itself offers a back-up function.

Get onto Google Photos if you're not already - it backs up unlimited number of photos at high quality for free.

Is there a way to clone a whole phone onto another phone in its entirety...?

I have a OP3, I've been offered a 3T at a very good price, what I'd like to do is wipe the 3T and then clone my OP3 onto that phone.
Then wipe my OP3 and clone my wife's OP2 onto that so she can give her OP2 to another family member.

If you have everything backed up to google play services you can do a factory reset on the 3T then set it back up with your google account it will automatically download everything.

Is there any way to remove the never settle slogan from the shelf and replace it with something else without having to install a new launcher?

Just press and hold on an empty space on the shelf. You will get a pop up to change the greeting.

I've found how to change the greeting but I cannot seem to get rid of it and replace it with a widget?

Anyone able to say with all certainty what the best tempered glass screen protector available for the OnePlus 3T is?

I tried the Orzly one and to be honest it was a disaster. Constantly chipping and crumbling around the edges and even broke when I dropped the phone an inch on a table. To be fair to them, they twice replaced it but each was as bad as the last.

I've not got much experience in tempered glass protectors apart from that - are they all that bad?

Open an Internet browser such as Firefox or Chrome on a pc/laptop/ultrabook/netbook

    Then browse to:
    https://photos.google.com
    https://contacts.google.com
    https://calendar.google.com
    https://keep.google.com
    https://passwords.google.com
    https://music.google.com
    https://docs.google.com
    https://sheets.google.com
    https://apps.google.com

They are probably the main ones...

    Unfortunately yes, they're all shi7e!

Nillkin H+ Pro .2mm was the best of them imo

Thanks a lot for this, I've had a busy day backing up my OP3.
I can't believe I'm only discovering the usefulness of Google photos just now. I have all the pics since I got the phone backed up with this but I also had a couple of extra folders on the phone with pics from my previous two phones which are now also in the process of being uploaded (all 3460 of them) along with the pics from my iPad, it's fantastic to have them all in one place like this.

The no led app stopped working on my 3T for gmail and a couple of other things. It works for some but not for others. Any way of getting it to work or another similar app?

You don't want the led to flash,is it?
Do the same for each app you don't want the led notification.
    Go into Settings-Apps-Gmail-Notifications.
    Then turn off led.

No led is an app which puts a square colour spot on your phone when you get a message or other notification. It is easier to see than the led light. It works for some notifications but not for others.

Geekbuying have the 3T 64gb for €350 from their Hong Kong Warehouse and €411 from their EU Warehouse.

Does anyone know how much the one from Hong Kong would be with Customs charges etc...? Thanks!

    It's been a while but I think it's 23% +€7 handling fee.
    But I am not certain.
    If so around €102 extra.

Hi sorry to post here. I'm wondering if anyone knows of places to repair one plus 3T screen. I've been quoted 180-220 and as I didn't buy direct from one plus I can't get it done by them. Just wondering if anyone knows of cheaper options. I really don't think I've the technical nous to tackle it myself though. Thanks very much.

The reason its so pricey is they don't do may of them here. It is about 90 euro from One Plus themselves I think.

Maybe you could buy the screen from eBay and bring it to someone to replace for you? Think it is about 90 for the screen
