It's got to be one of two things:
    1. Dana actually caved to fan pressure in an unprecedented first for him.
    2. Cormier's leg is bollixed.

Or 3. He's on the wind up again

Listen up kids, insubordination, not following rules, not listening to your boss and throwing toys from cot are the way forward.
Stamp your feet until you get what you want.

Give over, delighted. People will find a reason to hate Conor whether he's on the card or not.

I don't get you. Are you sarcastically trying to compare this to a typical workplace dispute. Because your analogy just does not apply here.

This whole series of events has been a pain in the arse and not in any way clever or original. Conor and the ufc should sort their **** out in private.

Or perhaps discussions in the background that we don't know anything about was the way forward?

Don't let your lack of knowledge of the facts get in the way of having a good moan though. Corner office blah, blah, blah.

The States is 5 hours behind on the east coast, if theres nothing from the UFC by mid afternoon then maybe its trolling. Sit tight until then I suppose.

Are you kidding? Like it or loathe it but this whole spat will do more for UFC and McGregor than any presser or tv ad.

The whole whirlwind that surrounds these events is on another level. People may roll their eyes at the drama but it reminds of the days when the heavyweight boxing divisions held on the headlines.

I love it. Used to think it was real forced and possibly setup when I first started watching cage fights but this just reminds me that the truth is often stranger than fiction.

Personally feel that the last few weeks has been more like the WWE build up to wrestle mania than a championship UFC card. Hopefully it's back on and we get to see a good fight.

He's 9/10 at Paddy Power this morning, not good enough odds for lumping on tbh.

Me too. I never am until it's on UFC's site.

The RDA match up was out of the blue. Reminded me that hints from the camps means F all.

Would be the worlds greatest frape. :pac:

Absolutely not. Note my use of the word 'perhaps' in my post.

It's gone full WWE. Farcical. What's next? McGregor and RDA vs the Diaz brothers in a tag team grudge match??

I hate wrestling, it makes me cringe, but why do people keep comparing it to WWE as if that's a bad thing? If I'm not mistaken WWE is still a phenomenally high ppv sport with massive money intake. Remind me why exactly UFC wouldn't want to be in that bracket too?

    I'm not convinced just yet

I know he could be taking the piss, but I really don't think he'd tweet that knowing some people would go online the same day and book their flights and hotels. That'd be a shîtty thing to do and I'm sure he's aware of that.

I don't really see the joke in tweeting that either.

If I had a choice between going to see the much vaulted and discussed UFC 200 or the 198 event in Brazil it would be Brazil all the way baby...

    Main Card

    Fabricio Werdum vs. Stipe Miocic
    Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo Souza
    Cristiane Justino vs. Leslie Smith
    Corey Anderson vs. Mauricio Rua
    Uriah Hall vs. Anderson Silva

    Preliminary Card

    Matt Brown vs. Demian Maia
Patrick Cummins vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
    Rob Font vs. John Lineker
    Nate Marquardt vs. Thiago Santos
    Warlley Alves vs. Bryan Barberena
    Yancy Medeiros vs. Francisco Trinaldo
    Sergio Moraes vs. Kamaru Usman
    Renato Moicano vs. Zubaira Tukhugov

I think that all the true fans will be delighted about this if it is true. Nate Diaz had a hell of a lot to do with setting this up by what he said at the press conference. He left Dana White and the UFC in a very awkward position to disallow McGregor to fight.
