Yeah Ceramics are great, I'll certainly be applying one to mine when I get mine painted!

Pricewise, with us for that size car you'd be looking at starting around ~€650 for the 5 Year 9H Crystal Serum Light coating with two coats of a super hydrophobic hybrid coating EXOv4 without polishing and ~€1100 for the 9 Year Guaranteed 10H Crystal Serum Ultra Coating and two coats of EXOv4 and 4 hours polishing included.

Polishing isn't completely necessary for the CSL or EXO coatings but is recommended as it'll mean the car will look massively better along with giving the coating a perfectly clean surface to bond to.

CSU includes polishing as the Guarantee is only in effect on a polished car. CSL gets a 5 year guarantee if the car is polished. To what extent cars are polished is up to the owners.

Time wise, you're looking at about a half day if not more decontaminating the car and a full day to apply either CSU + EXO or CSL + EXO. Polishing, anywhere from around 6-8 hours for a light polish to the sky's the limit for correction!

The square headlamp unit itself, really? Manufactured by a third party or something?

Japanese Nissans usually had healights manufactured by ichikoh and toyota usually had theirs made by koito.

That's the cleanest it'll ever be I'd say! It's early days but I've no immediate regrets.

To the layman unfamiliar with that particular sport model, it must have looked like an eco challenge seeing a megane on a track.

Is the novice sticker your own SG or are they handing them out at track days now?

One sad thing about those great Mondello pics is that there appears to be a eye hook in the front bumper almost predicting a crash in that lovely Reno!

It's for if you bury yourself into the run off areas. Easier to tractor a car out when it's already prepared. :P

Certain people actually buy ornamental/flashy ones and fit them for day to day driving, because race car! :D

Got my car cleaned. I know its pointless, but I could not look at it anymore. Went to same fella and he did fantastic job again. I could not recommend him more!

An absolutely amazing driving road, one of my favourites, especially on a motorbike.

I noticed the background in your pictures, it appears to be in Hungary. That's why I admired your car in Hungarian language.

Yeah it's a class bit of road alright, i was out on a fine Sunday, plenty of rental cars and Sunday drivers out so it was a leisurely spin, did a hoon with autostadt.ie lads out there before, it was a brilliant spin. You need to keep an eye out for sheep if pushing on though!

Seeing as I had no Avensis for the week, I had to use alternative means to get around... No better car for the job, none of this tucked for the winter nonsense!

It'll be getting a colour change at some stage, I've finally settled on a colour and once my backlog of disasters begin to clear I'll have it painted :D in house, of course ;)

It's the road from Louisburgh to Leanane, where Mayo meets Connemara.

    Want! :eek::D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
