There is a C32 just off the Welsh coast now. I wonder if it is AF1?

    * I could be very wrong. Don't hit me..

Another one just left Southampton, 09-0015 with callsign SAM45 (edit: correction, callsign is AF1)

United States Military Boeing C-32A approaching the Wexford coast. Air Force 2 incoming.

    Would that be SAM96?

The other C32 just took off from Southampton. I'd guess that it is AF1.

There's also some RN activity in the Bristol Channel at 29000ft; Hawks mainly.

Aside: On marinetraffic there is also LE Eithne off Shannon as per sop and looks like a Garda rib policing the Foynes/Tubber area.

Last time I was in Doonbeg actually there was a Netjets exec there over with his buddies for golf. Commented same about this being a good destination for the short hop European golf trip.

The VC25A/747 positioned in earlier, but POTUS arrived on a C32/757 as the runway at Southampton airport is too short to accommodate the VC25A

    I guess one can't track AF1 on Flightradar ? security reasons ...

What did he use for the trip across to Normandy? A 747 or 757?
