Have a look at ADSBEXCHANGE.com as they refuse to block anything unlike FR24

Except there was Ryanair planes taking off and landing at the time behind the news reporter waiting for AF1 to land, but was showing completely empty sky on Flight Radar which seemed odd.

Don't believe everything you see on Flightradar24. They have had aircraft on the ground at LHR for example when in fact the aircraft was still about 8 miles out. I'm pretty sure you will have seen occasions where a flight you are tracking suddenly goes into reverse.

    retro!

Maybe analogue preferred in case of EMP attack?
Or maybe I have read too much Tom Clancy and it’s just old!!!

Actually I don't think that there are any classic 747's with -400 full EFIS cockpits, there are some including some ancient -SP's that had a mixture of old/new, but they weren't completely like the -400. It really made them fun when it came time to find a way to train the flightcrew.

An AN-12 seems to be descending into Dublin now from a westerly direction.

Not landing in DUB.... But I just heard it pass the office, its lashing rain outside, loads of people are talking and there is an A320 between us on final into Dublin, and from 25k feet I can still hear it perfect... Beautiful

Anyone know what aircraft type this is landing just now at DUB with "invalid Transponder code"?

LAV is AlbaStar so likely a 737-400 or -800

Thanks. There's an Albastar flight to Lourdes at 12.00. Looks like an FR24 "slight glitch" with the age of aircraft :).

The 747 landed at Shannon, without trump. Apparently he's expected to arrive on a 757 (which will be AF1, regardless of the aircraft) at around 4:30pm.

People complain here when the Learjet is used, Americans using aircraft for the craic it seems!

The one just in is the spare aircraft with support personnel on board. Trump expected around 4.30pm

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 14,361 Mod ✭✭✭✭marno21

Trump coming on a C32 757) which will be Air Force One callsign

The VC25A (747s - usually AF1)that came in this morning (29000) had callsign SAM29 and presumably the other one (28000) will be SAM28

Trump will also be departing from Southampton Airport.

There is a C32 just off the Welsh coast now. I wonder if it is AF1?
