Changing the prelims to first to two sets instead of first to four legs is much better.

Gurney on fire in that set.

Are you mad? He's easily the best of them on sky, far better than mumbling Bristow or hyper mardle

Lewis was too erratic, gurney was a lot more solid and deservedly won.

Wright has outdone himself, that's some getup he's wearing, brilliant :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

Fairly comfortable for Wright, brown threw some bad darts at crucial times. Slightly disappointed taught it would be a closer game

Just when you think Snakebite can't outdo himself he does. Ad break after every set starting to piss me off

Afternoon session today. Don't think there was an afternoon session on a weekday this early in December previously

I can't remember one anyway. Very annoying considering there could be a couple of very close games this afternoon, especially Pipe v Kist.

You'll probably catch the end of it anyway. With Pipe playing it'll be on till about 8.

Have Pipe and Priestly ever played each other?

    That would be horrific.

Prelim/First round used to be 8 sessions of 5 games, this year its 10 sessions of 4 games.
So two extra sessions shoehorned in somewhere.

Has Sun had a drink or 2? Thought I seen him stumble there. Good to see McGowan back

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,957 ✭✭✭Liamalone

Sun was definitely a funny creter lol

I'd say mick will be happy that's over, that fella was poor enough.

Was following the match through a live score board. A miserable 64 average for Qiang Sun. Mick only averaged 74 himself but it's tough to play against someone that's struggling so much. Delighted he got through but can't see him getting any further unless he has a massive improvement.

    that was shocking stuff

Possibly the worst darts I've ever seen on TV. His very first dart nearly hit the bullseye. He missed the board going for t19.

Think I'll go over to China on a holiday and qualify for the world's next year

Not quite the worst. There will always be Tony Fleet pissed out of his mind at the Lakeside.
