No sign of anything for me either. Only just got my ANC cleared today as I had a satellite inspection. Know of one person who got paid in full bar 3% and they applied for the max in NR and YFS. They were paid before Christmas. Have been flat out ringing them, got through today and told its still being processed!

I got though after 4 tries this morning but NR seems to divert to ANC or BPS section. Spoke to a decent woman but end of day, they dont know why payments are not happening or why agfood not showing peoples entitlements even when processing is finished, and cant tell us why some are paid and others are not. Info is being closely guarded id say for whatever reason.

Holy mother of jesus... I got through lads. I was in shock for the forst 10 seconds but I managed to hold it together.

Anyway, she told me that my file was last worked on as recently as the 10th of January, there are no open issues and expect notification very shortly.

Did anything change in your Direct Payments screen in entitlement section on Agfood last few days ?
Mine just shows Position 2015 to 2019 now. The bit bout application issues disappeared over weekend.

no. "Entitlement information is not currently available"
have only four options under farm details. I think most people have 6

Got through to the call centre this morning to be told by the girl that the call centre was to be closed this weekend and all call from then would be going to the National Reserve section. But that has changed now as she said that the call centre is to be retained for another 2 weeks which indicates to me that this will go on and on, no end in sight.

same here no word from them, couldn't be bothered ringing its looks like a joke the way its ran.
very disheartening these days with delays to all payments I was to receive this year and all data was supplied by myself on time.

Really feel for lads who were depending on it coming in ontime, I never factor and of the government monies into any spending plans until its in the account as its just too much stress chasing them

Don't assume anything. They walk out the door at 5 on a Friday eve and don't arrive back till 9am Monday. We're waiting on the young farmer top up but thankfully we hadn't been depending on it. The father rang on Monday was told it will be March before we get it. He asked if they realised it was a 2015 scheme not a 2016 one!

I got onto the ifj and they brought up my case with Coveney yesterday. Might get the ball rolling on it a bit more.

Coveny told them that payments would be finished in 3 wks

Believe it when I see it

Absolutely fair play to you greengrass for taking the bull by the horns
And fair play to the journal for working on your behalf.
I plagued coveney on social media but he hasn't payed any notice.
Got in touch with a decent department man on the quiet by chance and hoped to make a push on my behalf.

I hope you get light at the end of the tunnel. And well done on pushing the issue through higher authorities.

taken from the ifj website. good to hear something but the bit I don't like is when it starts of with "most"

    farmersjournal.ie/delayed-payments-to-flow-within-three-weeks-197838

Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney has pledged to remove payment backlogs and ensure that all outstanding payments are made within three weeks.

Most farmers waiting on payments will be paid within the next “two to three weeks”, Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney has pledged.

In an exclusive interview with the Irish Farmers Journal, Minister Coveney confirmed that the Department is moving from “one round of payments per week to two rounds of payments per week from next week to get more payments out”.

The minister added that all affected farmers will be paid within the next two to three weeks, with the exception of very complex cases.

Although 121,000 farmers have been paid thus far, there are still issues with 3,000 farmers involved in partnerships, the Young Farmers Scheme and National Reserve. Just over 50% of all young farmers have been paid. The minister also accepted that there have been serious issues with farmers getting information from the Department.

Listen to extracts from agriculture minister Simon Coveney's interview with Patrick Donohoe in our podcast below:
