I am getting this today and have to say while its not what I ultimately want to see its better than was there before! they sent me a query on my qualifications last week - do you have anything outstanding?

Spoke to them today. They haven't figured out how to process the PCC cos the computer won't let them do it. They reckon all is ok tho.

They rang me again today looking for the co-op statement in both our names which I haven't got yet. They said I've had 2 weeks it should be done, I said I applied last summer so they've no right to be getting on to me. Anyway they said they'll get back to me.

    Help Needed.
i still haven't received my YFS Top-up payment. all the rest has been paid, bar the small percentage they hold back.
query on the YFS /NR scheme.
    how is this calculated ?
Do you need to apply for the National reserve separately to the YFS?
I qualify for the YFS under the new entrant, currently doing the green cert, Income under 40k etc. have joint herd number & bank account with aul lad.
our entitlement position is as follows:
    Scheme Year 2015
    Total Number of Entitlements 23.34
    Average Unit Value €122.00
    BPS Total Value €2,847.48
    Estimated Greening Value €1,257.61
    Estimated Overall Total €4,105.09

Would I qualify for a topup on national reserve? - am i correct in saying this would be in the region of €79 per hectre? how long is this paid for (5 Years / One Off)??

Lads/Ladies any help would be appreciated
cant get a straight answer form the dept - well cant get through to them at all.
    thanks

    Nothing :(

Larry... I was in the same boat up until a few hours ago.

So I emailed my local TD. He rang me back an hour later and told me that my level 6 course 'Farm Business' was not sufficent and had I any futher qualifications. I have a degree in Science (non farm related) and this will get me over the line.

I must have rang over 100 times in the past few months and this is the first I hear of it.

    Anyway, lift the phone.

I've been calling. It's because I was one of the unlucky ones who was inspected before payments, and am held up because the inspecter wasn't happy with "financial responsibility"

Lads don't ring them. If you email them you'll get a response I was ringing all last week to no avail and when I emailed them I got a response within a few hours.

BTW the reason our payment was held up was because when we made the application our herd number was still in the process of being changed into both names, even though the application to have the herd number changed to both our names was made 3 months before the yfs application.

Any of ye do them online green cert courses back around 2006?

I did them at the time and afterwards I only received 1 cert titled 'level 6 - farm business' which when submitted for young farmer application I was told it only accounted for 80 hours even though we were told at the time that this course was the green cert course.

I am beginning to think I should have hit another cert at that time. I am pretty sure I did well over 100 hours as I have old emails here (thankfully). We did 4 practical days I'm Gurteen in total.

Anyone shed any light on this?

I had a problem that may have been the same. My advisor uploaded the level 6 cert and they came back and said wrong one I don't qualify. He got on to ballyhaise they said give them level 5 cert and when I did I got it. College said something that was funny - how could you get level 6 without doing level 5? Get on to your college straight away and see if they can help

You got sorted fairly quick gg considering what happened to your application.
I rang all week but no luck. Don't think I'll be getting anything until the co-op is in both our names.
