    I notice now supports NEST CCTV straight out the box with Nougat. Would love to see what more home automation stuff is in there.

    Anyone have problems pairing the old controller? It won't pair for me unless I use wifi and I'd rather use ethernet for streaming. I was hoping it'd be fixed with the most recent update but it's not. It's a right pain.

    Paired for me straight away and then prompted me to update it's firmware. I'm also using ethernet.

    I'm using WiFi with the old controller, and whilst it is paired, inside the shield accessories app, it shows as not connected, so I can't update the firmware :mad:

    No guys, USB or not, it appears as an item inside the accessories app, but shows a question mark and says "Not connected". Even though I could be using it to access the app.

    Also, took 3 or 4 attempts to get the remote control to update firmware, but got there in the end! :)

    I will try and leave it connected via USB for a longer period later on and see if that solves it.

    Just a note for people, I connected my PS3 controller with the USB cable and then disconnected the cable and the controller is working perfectly over Bluetooth. Apparently working for PS4 controllers as well.
    I have the 2017 model but I think the latest update should enable this for older model as well.

    And has anyone told Nvidia that Amazon video is now worldwide?
    Or is that Amazon causing the issue?

    Oh yes, I forgot how protective Amazon were about where you can access their service. Well, their hubris will be their downfall anyway :)

    As for twitter, that's just stupid. I see tonnes of geo-restricted content on my general feed for BT and Sky. Doesn't mean they block it on phones. Not giving out to you obviously, just stating what I think :D

    I currently don't have a Amazon Video active account,but I do have the Amazon Video App and it works fine on my updated(7.0) Gen 1 Nvidia Shield TV.
    I don't use twitter on the device,but I'm sure you could probably side-load it.It
    might just need a mouse to use it.I understand that the Android TV version is Geo-Blocked for some unknown stupid reason.

    Not Twitter though but I've no use for twitter on a tv

    Is anyone else having issues with the Amazon Video app?

    I changed the language to English US and it appeared and I can log in and browse.

    However, no video will play and videos that show as 'Included with Prime' only have an option to rent/buy when I click through them.

    I have the Gen 1 shield with the latest update.

    Anyone with the new model having problems? Only got it yesterday and it's randomly rebooting and getting stuck in a boot loop. A factory reset didn't help.
    Getting it replaced by Amazon.
