Hope nobody minds me starting this!

Mulling over a few potential changes:

Costa -> Aguero if the latter looks sharp in the late game.

Also want to see how Sterling performs tonight because 20ish points from 6 games really isn't enough for a 9m player.

Otherwise I might update my bench by finally dumping Turner, maybe for Nyom.

Going to try roll it over. I have the two key players in Mahrez & Myhill!

Any word when Ben Foster is due back.?

Nope but with how he is playing if WBA had the secret love child of Schmeichel, Neuer and Khan who had taken on the best of both of them he wouldn't be getting in right now surely! He's not so much a keeper as a goal sized wall!

Have 2 FTs but happy with my team.
I'll have to think about it.

Have 2FT. Happy with team so far. Will more than likely go Chadi > Payet. Maybe Davies > Nyom too.

    Muniesa to cawson hopefully.

    Physio room says October.
It's so annoying. I would have brought Myhill in over Gomes this GW if Lindegaard wasn't sitting there waiting for any mistake. If I wildcard before Foster's return I'll just get both of them

Have to replace Shaw. West Brom defenders now have become firmly in my sights. Evans obviously number 1.

have 2 and I'm tempted by Sanchez to hazard and sahko to igahlo

If Silva has a serious injury I think I'll be bringing Payet back in.

Sakho -> Vardy or Igahhlo probably myself

I'm done with him. Wildcard activated and Yaya brought in for him. All these niggling injuries and they have plenty of options to rotate him

Giroud has to go, but for whom...

4.3kWp South facing PV System. South Dublin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

Sterling or Ayew out for Payet more than likely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,735 ✭✭✭caviardreams

Gomis out for Ighalo or Vardy but can't decide which. Leaning towards Vardy atm.

Thinking Sanchez to Hazard as well - is it Edentime?

2 FTs which were being saved to strengthen my defence but now not sure about the Silva injury

Silva --> Payet done before the price rise.
I want a WBA defender (Dawson most likely) but I'm not sure I would start him until gw9 so I'll probably bank the other FT

Edit: Gomez dropped for tomorrow so I think I'll do Gomez --> Dawson aswell

saylor out evans in before a possible price rise. probably the most unexciting transfer ill make all season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

    Silva, Huth, Coates, Saylor...

2 of them will have to go.

    Shaw to Evans probably.

    Shaw -> Bellerin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,598 ✭✭✭MarkSRFC21

I think I may wildcard. Morgan and fletcher look like dropping tonight. Need a WBA defender. Gomez dropped. Ward injured. Sterling incapable of finishing. Probably need a Chelsea attacker for next week.

What do you think? Should I pull the trigger?

I've activated my wildcard to get at least double WBA defence, Payet, Ighalo, and Wilson. You already have two of those so could just try and hold out. It's a tough call, I'm tired of the should I, shouldn't I

Is it worth using my wc to sort out my defence, bring in 1 mid, and avoid max 2 drops though?

Giroud to someone .. maybe costa (no chelsea player currently in team) or perhaps sakho (favourable fixtures and in form) . would love to fix my defence too .

Will wait til tomorrow to pull the trigger...all opinions welcome!

    Boruc McCarthy

    Dier Kolarov Gomez Cameron STaylor

Mahrez De Bruyne Coutinho Depay Westwood

    Giroud Aguero Wilson

I'd probably hold. Ward should be back for Palace's nice fixtures, you never know if Moreno gets sent off tomorrow, and a FT can get you a WBA defender/goalie in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,827 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

2FT but plenty of fellas putting their hand up for a P45. Looks like I'll have to make at lead to move at the back with Muniesa and apparently Gomez being dropped. Bellerin, Azpilicueta and Evans have my initial interest.

In midfield, Silva and Ayew are possibilities for the chop, with Hazard, Pedro, Payet chances for a transfer in.

Yeah I will. Morgan to cawson done. Realistically wouldn't have played ward until he's due back anyway, and Gomez may still end up at cb. Fletcher price drop doesn't bother me as he's probably there for the season. And sterling isn't an urgent transfer, although I think I may want KDB soon enough

    Think WC is premature.
Giroud suspended in Europe so I would hold him.

I see Martial is close to rising - a goal tomorrow will probably do it - if he was guaranteed starter, 8m is good value.

With games tomorrow and the cup in midweek I'd rather wait and see what unfolds than move early for the sake of 0.1.

Giroud is not nailed and Arsenal aren't scoring a lot of goals, he has to leave people's teams

Pedro for Sterling my first thought. Neither in danger of price changing at the moment so gonna leave it for now.

Payet in for Depay. Probably the easiest transfer I've had in some time.

Is it worth doing Ayew to Payet anyone? Going to do it tonight if I do it

Payet rising. I've already lost 0.1 on Depay and he's close to another drop. If he blanks again or gets half a game he could drop 0.2 this week. Not worth it going from what I've seen.

Sunderland or not, he just has to be gone.

I think that Yaya in for Sterling is the move to make, he had about 10+ shots today, and was very unlucky not to get a goal,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,872 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Yaya to De Bryne
    Gomis to Ighalo

    Already have Ayew of Swansea.

Way behind on mini leagues already, pissed off n need a miracle badly

Yeah grand, I get the argument and all and there is logic to it, but you've kept Depay through Liverpool and Southampton, 2 pretty tough games. Now you're gonna get rid just when he has a game where you'd fancy most remotely decent attacking players to do well in, before you've even seen what he can do tomorrow. Unless it is a situation where you can't make the transfer if Payet rises tonight (which in this case isn't possible since Payet is cheaper than Depay) I'd always advise sitting back, having the full picture in front of you and making the decision then. You don't have that picture right now. Depay could score 2 goals tomorrow and all of a sudden looks a cracking prospect at home to the worst team we've seen in the league for some time now.

I'm not saying don't do it. If Depay blanks tomorrow, I'd be questioning my decision to keep him myself. But I wouldn't advise rushing into a transfer that might not be the one you'd make by the end of this gameweek just to avoid a .1

He really was. Do you think that was a Silva thing or a Yaya thing?

City were chasing today, that won't happen every week. Today was the day for Yaya to deliver a big score and he didn't.

City play pretty attacking when it is most scores. My interpretation of it was that with Silva out and De Bruyne seemingly occupying wider positions, it left alot of space for Yaya outside the D which suits him given his shooting skills from that range. Thankfully today was not a day where his shooting skills were on show.

I didn't exactly stand by him for the last 2 GW's... my decision was made a while ago but other more pressing transfers came up. The only picture I wanted was that Payet didn't get injured today tbh.

If he scores 2 tomorrow, I'll consider it a gift from the FPL gods. As bad as Sunderland are, I would still prefer Payet at home to Norwich.

Don't know whether to get rid of one of Ayew/Gomis or hang on to them for their back to back home games. May sell Muniesa instead now that his place is in doubt.
