It's not a matter of being tough. He's really bad at dealing with people.

He has Chinese people in front of him with little or no English, and he starts speaking pidgin Spanish to them - 'hey amigo'. This just add confusion to a sensitive situation - petrol on the fire.

Ah will ya stop. He mild compared to any other customs I've encountered out of Ireland.

Bruce's last name is Heller... He's a legend in his own lunchtime at this stage.

He definitely can't work undercover anymore!

Your watching season 1, customs didn't feature on season 2 which has already aired (twice)
(Season 1 runs to about 19 episodes)

I'd hazard a guess Bruce influenced his superiors decision to not allow a camera crew follow him around!!

    S2 was missing Bruce

He's actually an attractive guy but that accent is a ruiner faster than female ass cellulite for a guys boner.

For all you guys saying 'jeanjolie will ye ever stop with your accent obsession', an English female friend of mine said the same thing to me first.

Preferably should switch for a Canadian or American twang.

    Cheers Amigo, no comprende,
Even Bruce's pigeon English/Spanish/Mardarin makes more sense!

Am watching this on gawd knows what channel - holed up at home because of snow. The customs people seem totally inept, soft and unprofessional when compared to other countries.

The staff seem very lax about their work. No wonder so much stuff can get through......

And, whats worse, as public sector staff they are extraordinarily well paid between pay, expenses, allowances, holidays and pension etc.
