Great power from Henderson but question mark about the gate and binding there.

Interesting game so far, both sides fairly intense, trying things out. Proper warmup game.

Thought that last penalty was harsh

    Henshaw really good for now

Our discipline has been very dodgy and he was lucky not to concede a penalty there. White and O'Mahoney also got lucky earlier on.

Ah gate was fine, thru the middle, but binding I don't think it matters so long as your not flying off your feet or shoulder charging. Refs are rarely that pedantic

Clear out of sexton saw the Welsh go off their feet, again.

Silly knock on from RK, easiest of his catches ironically and Wales bossed us there at the breakdown. Tipuric is killing us

    Wales playing extremely well there..

Was it? POC was the middle of the ruck, slowing it and Henderson went through on the near side, fair bit away from POC. Was definitely questionable.

There's been a few forward passes missed here helping Wales get over the gain line. But they've been the better team by a distance so far.

How many forward passes did Wales get away with there?

No, it really wasn't fine. He got lucky and could easilly have been pinged.

Breakdown is a complete mess, not being reffed at all. Wales are causing us plenty of problems so far though.

    Ireland physically off the pace.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,193 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Our definite starters definitely look a bit off the pace and the least influential out there with possible exception of RK and Henshaw.

Sexton, POC, POM and Heaslip all quiet. Murray doing ok.

wales brought that ****ing maul down imo

Looked like three from the first angle, zero from the other angle.

Surprised there's been no card. 3 penalties on Ireland's line.

I bet O'Brien is tugging at his chains

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

I really think Wales might bother England and Aussies..

Yeah, was a sloppy maul and they were on a downward trajectory from the off. As soon as it met with any resistance it was down.
