Yeah, they were alright but England were terrible. They almost lost a massive lead at the end. Plus it was only a warm up. By now you should know that France completely change from week to week.

They only need one good group game.

If Ireland are trying not to show their hand before the World Cup, they are doing a very good job. Either that or they are just very poor

    So do we

Robson is really struggling with telling Fitz and Earls apart.

Real lack of urgency there. DK holds up Halfpenny for a few seconds and not one supporting player gets to him.

That was because Strauss was taken out off the ball illegally. We had a choke tackle lined up and were prevented from completing it illegally.

A little worrying, we look undercooked. Hopefully regroup at half time.

    Murray and Sexton frustratingly rusty.

One player. Murray took his time clearing the ball. We should have had 3-4 lads arriving within those few seconds when the opportunity was there.

Wales frequently illegal, we need to be playing the ref better.

That's not enough, that's going to happen nearly every time against quality opposition, you have to swarm to the ball to get anything done from those contestables, there was nowhere near enough support.

    How far offside is Lydiate?

Bit of an elbow up there on Luke's tackle?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,745 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

I think people need to calm down here a bit. We've been rusty and a little off the mark physically. But we've 5 weeks before we play France.

Tipuric again. Giving Murphy a masterclass in breakdown work

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,308 Mod ✭✭✭✭.ak

Not a chance tipuric supporting his own weight there

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,745 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Was Tipuric not the tackler there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,197 ✭✭✭✭Buer

We're not dealing with it but Tipuric was not even trying to support his weight. He was lying on the ruck, competing.

    Tipuric is the boss.

He isn't. They've had lot more ball and we have been giving lot of penalties etc

Not the only one. Surprised either AR's haven't been on mic to Joubert talking about Welsh offside in midfield all game...

Ref is shocking at the breakdown.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,603 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Nicely weighted. Think it was covered, but good attempt.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,956 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Why do Sexton and wingers keep kicking the ball around the edge of the 22?

If Earls gets the chip it's a try Quinny?!

He was going to get pushed out anyway.
