Everton must have played well today so Aguero isn't looking so essential after all.

    Watched the game

Southampton had 55% possession, same amount of chances (more on target I think?) as Everton.

Lukaku and Kone were very good in first half,
think Lukaku went 15-20 mins without a touch in the second.

Howard saved 2 one on ones with Mane. (first break away led to first goal)

    Barkley and Coleman were lively.

Everton Defensive MF's parked in front of back 4

I think the score flattered Everton, Southampton's defence was poor as a whole, Stelkenberg looked like he wouldn't have got his place for Fulham, not assured at all.

For Southampton-Pelle was solid as a target man, Mane again had chances but didn't deliver (at 8.0 I'll have to sell him soon, others offering more for a lot less).
Wayanama dangerous from corners and could be a 4.5 option for a fifth MF for people.
Cedric eager to attack but the back 5 always looked vulnerable to conceding.

Would fancy Aguero to bag a few against Everton if he gets 90 mins.

If Lukaku played like he did in the first 45 mins in the next few games, can see him scoring no matter the opposition, but he's too dear as a 3rd striker for me given the run coming. (plan on having 2 of Costa/Aguero/Rooney)

Will leave in Rooney for GW3.Newcastle are brutal away from home and think Rooney might to damage. Augero in Gw4 for me...

Tempted to take out Depay for City over next week or Larsson to Albrighton

Rooney, McClean, McCarthy out for Mahrez, Payet and I'm thinking Gomis plus .4 left over. Seems a no brainer to me.

Newcastle now also missing jaanmat and possibly sissoko

Gonna give Rooney another go and switch from 3-4-3 to 3-5-2, and then bring Aguero in for Rooney or Pelle the week after. Cheap midfielders off to a good start makes this an easy choice.

Hopefully useless Kane is injured so I can get Aguero in

Adrian out probably for Fabianski. It's a shame Romero is 5.1 now.

    Migs/Ruddy
    Mert/Coates/Targett/Huth/Mings
    Fab/Ozil/Mane/Hendo/Ritchie
    Rooney/Aguero/Deeney

    36 points for the season!

    Anyone think I shouldn't wildcard??

No chance I would be wildcarding that all it needs is a little -4 imo.

Thanks. Care to suggest who to dump? Have my own views but would be interested to hear from someone who isn't in a rage at my team :)

Rooney would be the obvious one. Maybe him to Gomis and then Fab to Silva gives you good coverage for their fixtures from gw4.

Keeping Rooney for Newcastle, now is the time not to panic. Is Kane injured? Went off very early today.

Out of the two Leicester forwards, who would you pick? Vardy or Okazaki?

  • Registered Users Posts: 409 ✭✭TaytoCrisps

Need to shift my saints keeper and defender. Might keep 1 but no way am I stating doubled up for the season. They won't keep many clean sheets this season I think

Gomis in for Kane already. Most likely be doing Rooney to Aguero also for a -4, just enough beans in the bank so will likely make the move so long as Kun comes through the Chelsea game unscathed

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,779 ✭✭✭Benimar

Have 2FT so Ritchie to Mahrez tonight seems a no brainer. Think I will take a -4 or -8 to try sort things and hold the WC. Another bad day tomorrow could change things again though.

Galloway could be nice cheap defender to get. Free up funds to bring Kun in.

90% Sure I'm wildcarding this week.

Unless someone can see any hope for these chaps going forward.

    GK
Ruddy-Hennessey (Ruddy in for Courtois after last week's red)

    Def:
    Bellerin, Cedric, Huth
(Targett, Taylor: 4.0 bench fodder thought they were most likrly to get early gametime)

    MF:
    Silva, Hazard, Mane, Walcott, Bentaleb

    For
    Defoe, Benteke, Rooney

    1.0 ITB

    Really only happy with
Ruddy, Huth, Silva, Hazard and Defoe/Benteke (as 3rd Striker) long term

so can anyone see the benefit of going on as I stand without major surgery?

Even at that I'd probably still ship Huth for a premium Def and Hazard for Costa when I WC

Any opinions on this fixing this mess without a WC before I pull the trigger?

Are there any starting defenders around the 4.0 mark? Will oxford art regularly for WH now that Obiang is back?

Belly 100% fit. So cedrict the only change needed.

Walcott out for A yew/mahrez/someone in form.

    Rooney for Aguero.

That should be good for next week and avoids the wildcard if dedired

    Not a bad shout.

Was hoping if I WC I could get Aguero in,
but still have the choice of Rooney for Newcastle, then get rid for Costa

Walcott and Cedric have to go alright,

Mane not too far behind though given his price,
Out of position potential isn't paying off as I hoped.

Taylor/Bentaleb safe as long as he doesn't drop as I'll never play them

Gomis and Mahrez in. Logged out till next week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,304 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Mahrez is playing like the player I knew was in there last season.

I need to get him in for various reasons. I'd be loathe to get rid of Wessi after today so Hazard and the Henderbus may be on trial :pac:

Hmm... Just realised that if I do Kane -> Gomis tonight I free the £2.5m needed for Rooney to Agüero.

Now my plan is to hold on Rooney for the Newcastle game and he may well lose £0.1m this week so I may be anticipating too much (my FPL little weakness :o) but if Kane is injured and with Swansea & Gomis form it's tempting...

Lads what do people think of Fabregas going forward? Had him for a large part of last season like many. Trying to think of the best mf options out there. Is hazard a no brainer?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

did ritchie to mahrez have another transfer left. Ill see how hazard and walcott get on tomorrow. I may yet wildcard not fully commited to it yet though.

Thinking Ritchie to Mahrez too. Carry my 1 free, leaving Rooney in to face Newcastle. Aguero in GW4 with 2 frees and the money I make on Mahrez transfer. Sensible?
