Also noticed reviellere has missed last 5 games and jones has played them. Anyone know if he was injured or just dropped?

Not a real article really, but I went with Jones anyway. End of the season, dgw and all that:D

Haven't had a chance to look at transfers this week. 1 FT and 0.3m itb

    Mig - Myhill

    Kosc - Terry - PVA - Okore - Woolschied

    Sanchez - Silva - Hazard - Henderson - Boyd

    Kane - Benteke - Aguero

    Any obvious transfers here?

The only way I can get another arsenal mid in, is to get rid of Silva and Hazard. Hendo is the obvious route, but lack of funds mean I'd need another transfer and a hit.

    So it's either:
    1. Hazard/Silva to Cazorla/Ramsey/Ozil
    2. Benteke + Hendo to Defoe + Caz/Ram/Oz (could also go for Larsson + Giroud)
    3. Or could do Benteke and Kane out for Defoe and Giroud

Baines is going to miss the rest of the season. Ankle surgery.

Ya. He's on the bench. No real pressing need to sell him though

I'm really tempted by the Gerrard thing. Will still leave me with 1.4m on the bank and could comfortably bench him next week if he wasn't likely to start.

    Could line up like this...
    Mignolet.
    PVA, Koscielny, Terry
    Hazard, Sanchez (c), Ramsey, Gerrard
    Aguero, Kane, Benteke
    (Albrighton, Huth, Wolly)

Any views from my backroom team?

I'm on my own with my three offspring all day tomorrow from first thing so won't have much time to consider things before 11.30!

I brought him in last night. Only thing is that it leaves me with both him and Couthino. Just need to figure out if I need to ditch Couthino for an Arsenal mid for a hit. I'm in the position though where I have nothing to play for so these risks won't cost me anything

    Silva/Vardy gets you Ramsey/Defoe ?
Same move gets you Johnson/Giroud I think

but not enviable to be moving on Silva right now....

Excellent. How about Hazard? Less to play for than city?

Too much doubt over Johnson's game time to consider him in my opinion, if he was likely to play 150 or more minutes he'd walk into my team.
I'd select (and have done) Cazorla over Ramsey due to him being on penalties and also that he is 100% fit. Ramsey impressed me against Swansea but Cazorla still seemed to be at the end of some moves particularly in the second half.
Your name would suggest you don't need to be told a lot of this:P

Cazorla and Defoe from that list.

Ta. You are right. That was my gut feeling on transfers but very happy to have it confirmed.

Gerrard in for Silva. Only made the transfer 5 mins and I'm already fearful of it failing spectacularly.

I got rid of Silva a couple of weeks ago (for Liverpools DGW I think). After his performance last week I've seriously considered taking a -4 to get him back in!

I'm chasing and need as many differentials as possible. Thankfully I didn't do it last week mind you!!!

Ozil has the stats but whether they'll be converted into points is the question. I've gone with him for both differential potential and game time security. Also he has performed better at home since his return from injury and with 2 of the last 3 being at the Emirates, hopefully this will continue.

Hmm... There's no easy answer to my Arsenal midfielder dilemma.

I had a look at the performances from Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey & Sanchez when the 4 of them featured together. It happened 6 times lately (haven't checked for the beginning of the season since it's not really relevant for their current form).

    # | Cazorla | Ozil | Ramsey | Sanchez
    ownership | 14.9 % | 4.6 % | 13.2 % | 36.4 %
    GW29 | 4 | 3 | 14 | 2
    GW31 | 2 | 10 | 9 | 13
    GW32 | 3 | 3 | 11 | 3
    GW34 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3
    GW35 | 6 | 2 | 12 | 15
    GW36 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2
    | | | |
    total | 19 | 23 | 50 | 38:eek:

I should have done that earlier this week !

Despite Ramsey's late firness issues (but Wenger said he should be OK) I'm leaning towards him now. I just have to hope they won't beat United so that at least for this DGW Wenger fields his strong midfield quartet both times!

    --- edit ---
    Sterling -> Ramsey done.

It just can't continue though. They are pretty much safe and that 17 pointer v United was a freak!

Well, I totally called that Myhill clean sheet. I am frickin awesome.

Myhill has been a hero in my team though I only got 3 of his big scores (I include the 13 saves 5 pointer away to City). During the last 2 DGWs Mignolet actually managed to outscore him . So I only missed out on his 17 pointer away to United while Mignolet got 2 miserable pts home to QPR. It was infuriating but I have no regrets on it. ManU had something to play for. Liverpool also and were on a nice run defensively speaking. This is the kind of call you can't get right beforehand.
