smallest angus was 14 months and home bred by GJB. The other 3 were the dregs of the grass cattle I bought in the spring and were 28-30 months

Heard sucklers were dear, bad weather & cold nights generally cause the prices to pull

525kg is a great weight for an AAX at 14 months. GJB seems to be really doing the business for you. (And no horns either:D)

    Haha! The most important bit!
You won't get the most fancy animals but my god do they put on weight! Still getting R grade in the factory with them though. Ad in easy calving and I'll be putting most of my heifers in calf to him again this year

I agree , my first comment was based on the heifer/bullock/cull cow ring. I went out to the suckler ring for a while and the trade seemed very good.

Called in & saw the last few sucklers & first sheep, didn't hang around ring 1.
Was caught that sucklers moved to ring 2 (pet hate is lots stand in the door ways).
Looked to be allot of quality

You didn't do too bad overall. Next man won't have a whole pile out of them after finishing.

There not to bad especially since I didn't have to buy them all home breeding and I fairly glad to have them off the ground after the rain that fell last night tbh
