Imagine if we get a 3D Mario and Zelda at launch. I think thats wishful thinking or unreliable infomation from certain leakers personally, but its kinda blowing my mind still.

Possibly splatoon too! Them 3 would be such strong launch titles to shift consoles.

Yep, it has to be. There is a rumour of a fixed battle mode too.

News for this hour (it's coming thick and fast!) - Rime, originally announced for Playstation, is now coming to multiple platforms this year, including Switch in May.

Not influenced by Windwaker at all at all.

Seen the trailer. More, is good!

The thing is, I'm hearing a lot about ports. The Switch needs new games, not Wii U ports of first party titles, Rayman Legends, Rime, etc. There's been some new games, but nothing earth shattering. I hope they're there but kept very well under wraps.

edit - its probably easier to get info on ports from people in regards to leaks, as opposed to new stuff.

The Beyond Good and Evil 2 being digital only to other consoles when exclusivity ends is interesting, it means Switch will have the only physical copies.

Apparently there'll be quite a bit of info released about BOTW this week.

The first unofficial accessories for the Switch were announced by Snakebyte. It's a pretty regular few accessories which include a carry bag, wired stereo earbuds, screen protector, cleaning cloth, along with control caps and game cases.

I guess the game cases, to see the cart size, is the only one that stands out of interest.

Just think right now, Switch units are either being manufactured, or are manufactured. Nintendo are probably rehearsing for next week. Nintendo hype is the best hype.

I assume that carry case will fit the console with Joycons attached.

Can't see the picture of the power and volume while at work. Clearly the image is too explicit, but I'm reminded of The Inanimate Carbon Rod from Simpsons. "Did you actually get to see the rod?"

I haven't really been following the switch thing other than the major announcement / promo they did showing it off slightly.

Is there any mention for Wii U users who have bought the likes of Splatoon and Mario kart etc recently?

Feels a bit **** if I have to buy them again so soon after supporting them the first time on a failing console.

I bought the disc versions as well which probably won't help my cause. Maybe if you bought digital they could track you easier and "upgrade" with a few extra quid.

That said I'll try hold off to Xmas 2017 anyway as I looooove opening new Ninty stuff at Xmas.

Eurogamer has sources confirming Zelda BOTW for Japan and US launch day, but nothing regarding EU so far.

The portable consoles usually are region free. The 3DS is the exception to the rule.

If the machine is region free it's going to make buying games a lot more interesting.
No more gazing at delayed EU release schedules, now we'll be able to import RPG's, Shooters and all manner of good things direct from Japan and the US.
