    Exactly, you can walk around with a Che Guevara T-shirt and nothing will happen you. Do the same with a Hitler shirt/wear a Swastika and you will be on the news + lose your job, friends.

    They are both extremists on opposite ends of the left/right spectrum but only one is considered bad. Which leads me to believe that Western society is veering towards communist ideals.

    I had a great laugh reading about the "promotion of Intelligent Design" bit. Junior Cert biology would have been a right doss if I was able to write "God did it" and get full marks. Not sure my science teacher would have been too impressed having to teach rubbish instead of science though.

    Is this tripe actually what you want?

    Picking and choosing is what protestants do. What you've mentioned there about slaves, shellfish etc. is from the old testament. That's the Jewish bit. The Christian / Catholic bit is from where Jesus arrives, onwards. Live and let live etc.

    So if in future Ireland is 90% inhabited by people with no Irish descent but have passports that say they are Irish, this is "Progress" and good for maintaining our sports, language and traditions?

    No the Japanese aren't racist, they just haven't been undermined by Modern thinking. Even though Japan is having a low birth rate problem it will still be Japanese. They are fully aware that by importing foreign people with high birth rates into their country where the native population isn't replacing themselves, that it is a mathematical certainty they will become an ethnic minority in their own country over a few generations.

    Ah I see now! The Catholics ignore the Old Testament and have never done anything wrong? In of themselves they've not done enough damage the world over to be reviled and their teachings thrown in the bin.

    Oh and Jews are evil, right geddit, geddit.

    There are many good people in any faith. There are many though that wouldn;t know morality if it walked up and slapped them across the face.

    ...how the hell would that happen? Mass parachute invasion? Where would the Irish people living here have gone? Would they go out for a swim together and discover the country had been taken over when they got back to shore?

    Both books are the word of God, the same God and JC himself stated that The Ot is not to be disregarded:

    "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place."

    And ummmmmm The 10 commandments were in The OT.....

    Let's take a look at what happened in the Yugoslav wars. Kosovo, a province originally belonging to Serbia had a Serbian majority/Albanian minority (80/20% I believe) in the 1920s. In the 1990s it was 75% Muslim Albanian and 25% native Serbs and then **** hit the fan. This demographic change was simply due to immigration and a difference in birth rates.

    In case you haven't noticed, average Irish couples these days don't have more than 2 kids (only replacing themselves) whereas African and Arab immigrants are at 3.74 off the top of my head. Demographics WILL change drastically in this country within the space of 50 years.

    Irish Sports - More has been done for Irish Sport by Sky than anything else. Sports survive because they're good not because we close the borders and carry on playing ball in a cup.

    Irish Language - I moved here 15 years ago. There were about 4 chinese people and a black guy in the whole of Dublin. The language was as dead as a do do then. I look back of historical footage of Ireland, feck me if they're not all speaking English.

    Ancestry me arse - half the world thinks they're is Irish.
