Classic Stirling. He either goes big or gets out early. Nightmare

Poor start to the batting but (hopefully) long way to go.

Think I'll just go to work. Maybe we'll win if I don't watch

    Oh crap...

Bad start ok. But stirling is a bit hit and miss. Could have got a flyer, just bat for a while. Get to 20 overs 1 or 2 down. Still ok.

Joyce was cool as a cucumber against West Indies. Hopefully him and Porterfield can steady the ship somewhat. On a bus to college so following this on the app. My bloody nerves.

Bad start. Gotta steady the ship now and not let this turn into a repeat of the Scotland warm up match

Who knows how this match goes. Will do some work, usually when I turn up near the end I get a surprise, fell asleep during the batting with the West Indies, woke up with 6 runs from winning.
    So would take that again.

10 overs. UAE 45-0 Ireland 35-1. Not looking too fancy at the moment. Need to get some boundaries.

Now that is just plain bizarre!

yorker hit the stump, bail jumped up, then fell back on. Not out.

    ...wow. Thank you

Joyce was bowled but the bail went up and landed back in the groove. Didnt break the wicket

  • Registered Users Posts: 914 ✭✭✭lambayire

I wonder if they weren't using the zinger stumps, would the bails have fallen over?

Must be a bit of extra weight in them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,531 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Gotta capitalise on that stroke of good fortune

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,906 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

Need to start moving soon. Don't want that run rate creeping up any higher

No huge hurry really. Wickets in hand far more valuable at this stage
