To be fair,we have always struggled with the ball, but yeah it was bleak watching the last 10 overs of the UAE innings.

    This is very tough now,

Seems like it's going to take a good deal of guts and a fair slice of luck to get this one..

Think that's that folks. Lose this and we can forget the next world cup.

Don't understand the pessimism. As the graphic showed they were 80-4 we are 88-2 at the same stage. I'd fancy us all day to accelerate passed their run rate too in the later overs.

Chip away and don't give up easy wickets and we'll win cosily in my book.

    Ok scrap that. We're fooked.:D

    Not looking too clever now.

Run rates creeping up and up - creates pressure.

Thought it was Nialler who was out, so I'm slightly more optimistic. He looks way more comfortable then porterfield did

just typical of us to screw up the easiest game :(

Bowling has cost us this i think. For the love of god stop with the short stuff, look how well UAE have done by bowling full

Tauqir killing us with ball flight.

Doesnt look like a 300 pitch in hindsight, more like 250.

Have university now so gtg anyway, but I cant see us hitting 150 off the last 10 like they did, because they arent bowling balls waiting to be hit.

Will follow on cricinfo in uni obviously, but I think this one is done

Trouble now, static run rate also. Need a partnership now.

Not gonna blame the batsmen for this, UAE have bowled well and the pitch under lights seems to be a tough gig to negotiate, we lost this from overs 35-48 in the first innings. Had we done as we should have and dismissed them for 200 or so, this would have been a cake walk. As is, RR just seems too high.

    Ireland 11/2 now.

And please Mr Simmons, play Young next game.... He averages 17 FGS and is somewhat quick

Everytime I check the runs scored, it's like it's less than it was the last time.

Is it possible to score so slowly they've taken runs off us?

    Feels like it...

6 runs ahead after 23.3 overs. Hmm.

See off the spinners first. Tauqir is nearly done.

Anyone have current 6's count for both teams? . . and maybe a way to follow it?
